Amounting to anime

I've noticed through time that there are of course people who watch an excessive amount of anime, or not as much as is said. There seems to be quite a bit of variance in range.

I'd have to say of watched a calculated guess of about 20,000 hours. That's enough time to become a billionaire if you are successful enough.

Anyway, I ask of you, tell me how much you have watch anime. I'd like a number of time or shows that been watched. It piques the curiosity of this sensual man's mind.

20.000 hours is a very specific exaggeration if not accompanied by a source...
(If 1 episode was 24 minutes, this means 50.000 episodes watched. and if 1 title has 24 episodes, this means 2083 titles.)

According to that, there are roughly 4000-5000 titles released in 85 years from 1917-2002. If there are 2083 titles watched, then you must be older than my grandfather.

MyAnimeList already counts the amount of time you spend watching anime (link in sig). I have doubts on their manga reading counter though.

I'm at 43 continuous days (about 1000 hours) of completed anime.

That's roughly 604 out of 13680 hours since I started watching anime (December, 2012).

Let's say I have slept one third of that. Meaning I have been awake 9120 hours and I have watched anime one fifteenth of that.

Don't use mal but my HDD has 364 completed series and 17 or so movies. Plus my vast vcd/vhs/DVD/LD.

Counting on your HDD completed series only and with MAL's math:
IF 1 title = 24 episodes, that means you've watched 8736 episodes (4732 if 13).
That means, you spent around 3494 hours or around 145 days.

On MAL it says I have about 44 days watching anime, but thats not counting a lot of re-runs, stuff I saw when I was a kid, and times ive re-watched the same series with other people, so that number could be a bit off.

145 days out of my 7300 days of weebdom.... not too bad.

My MAL says I have watched 82 days of anime. Not sure if thats a lot or not a lot?

Think about this. If you had 82 consecutive days, from today to October 18th, to do one thing and nothing else without any changes or affects on your life what would you do? You chose to spend that time watching anime. Think about everything else you could possibly do with that time and you can answer your own question.
