Animated characters in reality

You know about people who were being really obsessed about Anime Characters? It kinda bugs me when they say things like "I wanna meet this character in reality", and then followed the statement like "Yeah", "Me too" or "For real".

Well what would happen if it could? Some say its exciting, like it would be an ultimate adventure everyday. Others say it would be dangerous to delve in too far with technology, think about all those violence.

So ah, Im thinking about it for a while. Just imagine, Pokemon characters walk around the streets like a stray dog, and you would have the urge to catch it( because that way it is). Or maybe meeting up with female heroines like Tsunade-sama or Ino-chan (Naruto).

So whaddaya say? Small world eh?

Ah, THAT may happen, if you had powers of Haruhi for some reason...

I guess it depends on the character. You've made some interesting examples there. Some characters could definitely mean trouble, while others are pretty normal people.

Well as an addition to this, think about how captivated the girls of Anime are. Well IMO, im sure everyone would like to have a real Anime girl rather than a model figure(typically because it doesn't have a reaction, but delicious just by looking)

But seriously, if anime characters were brought into our world it would probably just lead to a hell of a lot of deaths and injuries. Be cool to bring some but if it just leads to all anime somehow coming into our world I'm pretty sure the world would end.

well it all depends on who you bring out of anime. I would much rather go into their world rather then bring them here well except my waifus. but it would really bring destruction for there are people who will abuse that power and probably bring something out that would start war. man this reality sucks.

While meeting some characters in real life wouldn't be so bad-I would like to have a talk with Kyon- I would rather have anime characters stay WITHIN anime. I would not like to see freakin' Evangelions running around trying to stop Angels that are destroying cities left and right, killing thousands while doing so.

The 3DS can make this happen now. Although, you probably won't get a coherent response from the individual.

I'd like it but some story may need to stick to the sideline. For example if pokemon was real life, there would be poke-wars, or if something like elfen lied happened, I would get hella freaked out, but other than those types of things, there's a reason why I adore good cosplayers on deviantart.:)
