Accelerator is in both. The sisters arc in Index is from Touma's perspective and in Railgun is from Mikoto's.

Index's and Railgun's Arcs cross-over each others story. In fact you'll get more Accelarator in Railgun than in Index's arc.

In Index, with Touma's POV, it focuses more on the Lvl 0 vs Lvl 5 aspect. While in Railgun besides Mikoto's POV, it focuses more on the details of the Sisters project and Mikoto's effort to stop it forcefully.

In Railgun the Arc starts at the 10th of August and in Index, Touma gets involved at the 20th of August.

The current Railgun story for the manga cross overs the "Daihaiseisai Arc" in Index.

I like what the studio did with the Misaka Clones, they look considerably better than they did in the first season and Index.

Misaka is the 3rd strongest level 5, right? And Accelerator is the 1st strongest. Who the hell is the 2nd strongest level 5? I've watched both seasons of Index and Railgun as well. Did they ever tell us or am just forgetting who it is? Or am I just completely fucking up my facts?

I didn't realize Misaka was that weak in comparison to Accelerator. I can't wait for Accelerator to meet Lolisaka (Loli + Misaka). I don't think that crosses over in this arc though. I think that was in Index season 2 if I remember correctly. Ah well, good episode overall. I love the whole Academy City universe. I should probably start the LNs or manga.

Dark Matter is number 2. I don't recall him being revealed until later when the "darkness" of Academy City is developed.

Furthering that:

Kakine Teitoku - No. 2 Dark Matter - is said to have appeared during the Daihasei Festival Arc of Railgun (from Wikia). Haven't actually seen that yet, so yeah... other than that, he appears during the Battle Royal Arc of Index.

You mean Ollerus, right? I'm not sure how that fight would go - due to the lack of info on his abilities.

Not really "asshole", but EVERY Level 5 is cuckoo (mentally unstable) in their own way, even Misaka with her obsession with gerota and Touma.
The most "sociable" Level 5s are Misaka (3rd), Misaki(5th), and Gunta (the 7th)

Mikoto wouldn't want to destroy the Tree Diagram. I think (as far as I can remember) she wanted to send some fake data and try to cancel the project with it. It was a long shot but she had to do something.

Things were a bit different compared to how it was shown in the Index anime. Maybe they changed it to fit the atmosphere more.

I Just watched this the other day. At first watch of the AMV I saw for it. I thought it was going to be another okay anime, nothing special. Boy was I wrong. I got hooked on it. Finished both seasons in one day. Shit wish there was more. Great anime. One of the best I have seen so far. I rate it a solid 10 out of 10.
