[Anime] Accel World

I've seen this storyline over and over (and over); A downtrodden high-school boy slowly works himself into a confident man (or at least something along those lines) with the help of a popular girl who (usually out of pity) takes a liking to him. Even with the aforementioned in play, Accel World is actually piquing my interest. The visuals are great while the characters themselves have somewhat unique ambitions and backgrounds. Obara and Yoshino, with major credit to Kawahara of course, have done a good job so far of portraying the challenges faced by a reclusive high-school boy. I also applaud Kawahara for imagining a cybernetic society that we may find isn't too dissimilar from our own in the future.

From where i stopped, kurrent's gender was not comfirmed. Mind showing me your source?

Even the anime stated it in the last couple of mins. Of course not outstating it.. mostly likey in ep7 this comes up.

To the overall point... i see filters coming for the fact:

Because if they did i would be more engrossed in another anime to watch Accel World :D

As a side note, it is possible the Anime will take a different route then the Manga, especially if the Manga is going to make the anime doing fillers by Ep 7 D:

I didn't know either. I don't read light novel. Mango or novel.. nothing light about reading.

Is it just me or is episode 7 done in a rather medicore fashion? I'll need a lil time off before being able to write down a review like i always do..... Sigh.
