Bayonetta is getting an anime film adaption by Gonzo.

I'm not really sure about this one but hopefully it'll turn out alright. I figured somebody should at least make a thread for it. The game was excellent by the way. Great action game for PS3 and 360 owners. I can definitely recommend it.

Well this was... unexpected. The game was amazing, but I don't know about this, I can just hope they staff will do a decent job.

Never saw this one coming. I'm having some high hopes Gonzo makes this work.

While the animation is decent, I'm not holding my breath on this... given Gonzo's history track record.

Gonzo is Hit or Miss when it comes to anime. This from what I've seen looks pretty cool.

They should do an outtake where her lollipop gets stuck to her hair...cus you know her clothes are made out of her hair. <.

An anime of the first game, hmm... Maybe I'm remembering a bit off, but the game was very action heavy with few moments for actual (only) story (gameplay changed the venues and pushed the story along). So I am expecting more story, not seen in the game, from this, that doesn't hug the game (unlike** Blazblue ep 2 (only one I've seen yet) did). Action wise... This would be costly.

The fact that there is now more Bayonetta material because of the anime is really exciting but I'm still not sure about the trailer. It was such a fantastic game I'm not sure they'll be able to pull it off.
edit: I know I shouldn't be comparing, however the anime adaptation of Devil May Cry was so goddamn mediocre it made me wanna cry. Since both games are of the same caliber it's quite likely the adaptation for this will be mediocre too

Gonzos doing this an blade and soul. Lotso anime based on action games. Wait and see I guess. Loved the original game.
