I still have yet to play the story modes on any of games, though.

I have been waiting for Blazblue to get an anime adaptation.

My body has been ready for an anime since CT days.

I kept thinking that it would make a good anime as soon as I started playing Continuum Shift Extend. Actually, I still haven't completed all the story routes yet. I started playing again today though. Gotta get the true ending.

I may just sit down and do the same just to get ready for the story being animated, (it's the only trophy related thing for the original CT version I didn't do besides the Mission mode and Level 50 ones because they're really hard) but it's going to take awhile. Here's hoping they pay homage to the gag reels and humor from the game by having some references to them.

Blazblue getting an anime is great. Though I was waiting more for the storyline to continue off CS, especially after (Spoiler) Ragna meets Saya.

This is one of many games on my to play list. Looking forward to animation of it

This is a wildcard to me. It will either be an extreme of actually enjoyable or very depressing.

very awesome to see a anime. But fighting game anime is kinda a hit or miss. But I think Blazblue has a good chance

I just hope that they can get the English VAs from the game if it ever gets dubbed.

Updated the OP and topic title. I could see this anime going either way. Hopefully it'll be good.

I'm hoping that this will turn out well. Other anime adaptations for a lot of FGs are hit and miss, but again, hopefully ArcSys will pull through and make it decent enough.

I, myself, is just waiting for Tsubaki to show up. It's always nice to know that the main character I played in CS has the same VA as in the ones from Steins;Gate and The iDOLM@STER. Hopefully they'll also do an OP with her singing it, because, IMO, the CS arcade opening to me was the best out of all the OPs for the game so far.

Frankly speaking, after watching the trailers, the animation looks OK.
Had it been an OVA series it would've been much better, unless the TV series intends to expand on the world and the crazy amounts of lingo and dialogue in the story of BB.

All the original VA from the game seem to be there, hopefully. I don't know the VAs for Amane, Azreal, and Bullet since I saw them in the trailers.

Animator wise, first time I'm hearing TeamKG.
Looked up Hood Entertainment and found they worked on anime with gratuitous fanservice (IE Seikon no Qwaser/Manyuu Hikenchou/AkiSora/Kagaku na Yatsura/Vanquished Queens). I don't know what to think, so I'll just wait till the first ep to show to see how good the productions are.
