.hack//Quantum is an OVA series, part of the 3rd Season of .hack. The series will consist of three episodes and is being presented by Bandai Visual company. Animation is produced by Kinema Citrus (Tokyo Magnitude 8.0) with director Masaki Tachibana (Tokyo Magnitude 8.0, Noir) taking charge of the animation. .hack// writer Tatsuya Hamazaki is writing the OVAs and video game and anime composer Ko Otani (Shadow of the Colossus, Blade of the Immortal) is composing the music for the series. CC2 confirmed that Quantum is not related to the CGI movie tie-in to .hack//LINK.
synopsis
Tobias, Mary, and Sakuya challenge the impregnable "The One Sin", but they lose their way in the maze and unintentionally trap other guild members. A mysterious cat is watching their blunder. Is it another player character or NPC?

I'm still waiting on .Hack//Link's anime and for it's game to hit American shores. But I do like Quantum... Just Kite's outfit is overused. No love for the Green outfit he starts out with?

I agree about the overused part though, with Quantum at first I was a little confused as to why a more female look for the Kite PC but it's grown to me now.
Nonetheless I've found Quantum so far not a bad anime tbh. I'm looking forward to the final episode, I was hoping for more episodes but I think 3 will is good enough from what I've seen.
[spoil]Forgot the cat persons name but they seem to hold someone dear to them for wanting a compatible donor. It was sort of expected in a way that Sakuya's friend was going to be picked from out of all the unconscious people.[spoil]
Still it was a good episode.
