I rather enjoyed the first episode. This "Maverick Hero" dude is awesome.Him and Issei from High School DXD would make a killer team.
I agree Akatsuki Can steal girls underwear while Issei makes them stark naked with his touch ability.

They'd be unstoppable.

* I just started watching this anime and just finished the 1st episode so I'm sorry if this is a bit late.
Anyways who here feels that this should have been a season 2 and Season 1 should have been the adventure of Akatsuki to the the different world and defeating the Demon King?
I mean I like this it's like Campione in a way but I don't like how they started it out. I mean its like watching a TV series but instead of watching the beginning of the series you ended up watching the last episode instead.
I had a lot of questions like if he was a hero then why was the maids attacking him?
Who is listy and what is her relationship to Akatsuki?
Why was there a naked girl on a bag?
Who is Miu?
Was there other people from Akatsuki's world who was in that world too?
Did they die during the battle?
or Did they decided to stay?
Why were they summoned to the different world?
Though in reality I could probably answer all this questions since I'm pretty confident at finding answer and piecing them together - Although thats not my point. My point is I would have liked to see it myself rather than being told in flashbacks and such.
Imagine the Dog Days anime series. Imagine that the series didn't have a season 2 and that the season 1 was actually season 2. So the anime starts with Shinku being summoned to Biscotti and being hailed as a hero who saved the land from a giant monster and you're shown only flashbacks of the battle. You would then feel like it started in a wrong way. You feel that you should have seen the battle that truly earned him the title of "Hero"..I feel the same in this anime.
So I'm probably going to check out the Light Novels now and see if the novel is the same as the anime or if it actually covers Akatsuki's journey to the other world and his journey to defeating the Demon King. Then only afterwards will I watch the anime.

Questions might get answered in later episodes.

Before anything else, one of the best parts of Ep 5.
I'm looking forward to the smackdown too.
It's definitely gonna be an awesome battle.

Episode 10Only one thing needs to be said about this episode.
Spoiler:
Yeah, that scene pretty much made up for the lack of ecchi/sexual harassment in the rest of the episode. I think it's established at this point that there will not be a single episode without at least one scene where Akatsuki qualifies himself as a sexual predator... just the way I like it ;)

I think the funnier part about Akatsuki is the fact that the girls he fondles seem to start liking him even though he's had his hands all over them without consent.

Yeah, honestly, if it weren't for that he'd be in jail already. Oh well, 'tis part of the appeal.
