The romantic comedy centers around Asahi Kuromine, who has a crush on a cute girl named Yōko Shiragami. Shiragami just happens to be a vampire. Asahi cannot keep a secret, but he is determined to keep Shiragami's secret anyways.

Manga: Meet Kuromine Asahi, "the man who can't lie". On the way home, he just learned an important secret. That his crush, Shiragami Youko, is actually a vampire!
Can Asahi actually keep her secret?
It's a fun, clumsy, one of a kind vampire romantic comedy!

For those of you who haven't read the manga, I'll say shortly what this show's gunna be about:

FACE REACTIONS THE ANIME. LITERALLY A FACE REACTION GOLDMINE.

Tis give my sides wings to fly into orbit.

It's like Nisekoi, but with progress.

Altough I can't say it for sure since I've stopped reading Jitsu wa watashi somewhere near
Spoiler:
the pool scene as it seems it's the last thing I remember.

NIGGA YOU BEST BE MISSING SOME GOLDEN REACTION FACES.

I SHIT YOU NOT THIS IS HALF THE REASON I READ THIS SERIES.

And with that I have some hope from the PV that they'll be decently animated.

The fucking PV has more interesting reaction faces than an entire standard anime. Sold.

after watched the 1st episode,i kinda think that the character designs for the anime ver were more cuteish looks than the usual (probably their attempt to make more fans this way).
like the scene where shiragami hides her wings, fangs and getting off from the table is surely a plus but don't know if this thing will hinder the character's shenanigans or not.

well,i'll keep watching this series and hope it'll get random as in the manga series. especially for that a-hole demon principle.lel

This thread piqued my interest in this series so I decided to catch up on the manga. I have to say, it's one of the most satisfying romantic comedies I've ever read. The main reasons are

1. There's actual progress.
2. The MC has some balls and isn't completely oblivious to girls' feelings.
3. There are a decent amount of supporting male characters.
4. Not really a spoiler but just in case Not all the girls love the MC
5. The facial expressions are gold

Anyway, so far what I've seen of the anime is just mimicking the manga so that's good I guess. A little mixed feelings on the art since I enjoyed the manga's style but like FOG said it's probably to attract a bigger audience.

I put this manga on hold for a while but just recently caught up with it. Anticipating the next chapter now.

As for the anime, watched the first episode. It's the same as the manga, just more colourful. Just as long as they do the reaction faces correctly, than I'm fine with it.
