Eh, why did it get fucked up? I just used insert image + spoiler tag, it worked initially... what did I do wrong?

Anyway, when I first saw it I had to point out the fact that at this point Yuuya has had a grand total of 3 episodes to develop, and that Takeru wouldn't be all that badass if we compared them, say, somewhere before the coup d'etat arc (or even earlier). But, I still found it funny.

No, it's a story that takes place roughly parallel to the Muv-Luv: Alternative.

Takeru also never left Japan* , so it wouldn't make a sense for him to be in Yukon. Valkyries could show up as a part of BLUEFLAG exercises, but I don't recall that happening in LN/Cross-Operation magazines.

That sexual tension.

The lack of delicious TSFs this episodes is made up by delicious, delicious Yui and Cryska in swimsuits. Couldn't have asked for more.


Yuuya as usual being a boss, swimming like that and carrying two women back and forth into that cave. Bad weather? Fuck it, bad weather is for Communists.

And VG thinks he knows something about enjoying resorts. Bullshit.


A new rival appears! Quickly Yui, strip and take Yuuya's virginity before Sisters get over you!

Ah, the swimsuit episode. Would call it the beach episode, but they didn't really stay on the beach long. So, Yuuya is now stranded on an island with two hotties all to himself...I'd take advantage of that situation if I was him.

If the anime goes past the Kamchatka arc, she definitely should, since she features prominently in the next arc, the BLUEFLAG exercises.

And since she does have a Voice Actress assigned, there's a very big chance she'll show up.

Her name is Cui Yifei, and she's the commander of Bao-Feng test flight for the PRC's United Chinese Front.


On off note, I'm surprised Yui would be embarrassed by something like a princess carry, given that trainings are supposed to get rid of such silly civilian sentimentality as privacy (which is one of the main reason why a lot of parts on trainee suits are transparent/opaque.)


But then...sexual tension, yeah.

I have mixed feelings about this episode. On the one hand hot girls in swimsuits is always welcome. But on the other hand this takes away from the drama of the Alternative universe that I expected after playing the VN.

So they do have that comedic quarrel after all and nice swimsuit ep... though not a single boner from Yuuya after feeling up 2 kinds of melons even though he had contact with it from the back and front.

Is the next episode going back with 94 Second? Can I have my weekly dose of mechas?

Well that was...an utter waste of 20 odd minutes.
Spoiler:
Lt. Awesome being reduced to a stock Tsundere, Yuuya bitching about daddy not loving him, Cryska being...Cryska, and utterly no plot or character progression whatsoever. Oy.

On the upside, from the sound of the preview, it's finally alien fighting time next episode.
