Yande.re for me is a pretty good high res scan site and not exatcly many noteable ones to name, so meh-be you guys can appreciate that fact that these sites even exist as opposed to, meh i'll just google it and save the low-res ones cuz i'ma meh-be save it or not.

I'll just go straight to the original source of all the images on yande.re, which is most likely pixiv.net.
http://www.pixiv.net/ They have english as an option now.

What were theses sites for exactly ? ...Anime Paper (and the other sites) had an ongoing collection of anime/manga images, scanalations, wallpapers, etc.
I used AP for a little while a few years back, but left a bit before it went with that premium stuff. The restrictions for number of downloads and their selection was...lacking, to say the least. RIP. *shrugs*
