[Anime] Senran Kagura [OVA Available]

never played the game even when it got a long ass queue at the releasing day back in last year's summer.but i'm pretty much know the characters from the doujinshis.lol.

i'll say i'm pretty surprised when i watched the 1st episode and found out that Katsuragi.....is voiced by Kobayashi Yuu.

even though it's NICE CAST! but yeah,since it's a shinobi character who likes perverted things but minus the crazy voices,stalker habit and idiotic schemantics,i definitely can't shook her image from her well known shinobi character as Sacchan in Gintama.lmao!

I really want to like this series but it feels like they are trying to stuff it full of meaningless ecchi I mean Jesus Christ! they all have massive racks, maybe not Eiken size but all mostly the same big bouncy size. Also the whole boob grabbing thing got old fast. To love ru did it better when Risa would only do it once in a while not several times in one episode.

I'm still going to watch this but I'm having a hard time not being an ecchi purest which I don't want to be. I should just enjoy it all but something deep down inside me is telling me it's too much like having a plate full of awesome food (like burgers, tacos etc.) Sure it tastes good but what happens once you eat more than you can stomach? Indigestion or in this case a lack of enthusiasm to watch.

I watched this one on a whim. Let's make things clear; I don't hate fanservice entirely, but when there's too much of it, it turns me off. Like NEXUS said above, there was pointless fanservice i.e. Katsu grabbing breasts for no reason, transformation sequences, the skirts were barely covering the thighs.

Now that that's outta the way, I liked the music, the animation looks nice (though the only good fighting sequences were the training session and the prologue) , but it looks like there won't be a depthy plot, time will tell. I'll stick around for a few episodes hoping it's not another Ikki Tousen or Queens Blade. BTW, Hibari and Yagyuu are adorable.

Watched the first episode, so many breasts, I think Hibari is my favorite.

I was going to watch it last season but was advised to play the VN first, Keeping on topic, I wonder what Homura has up her sleeve with the main girl, that last scene was kind of ominous.
