[Anime] Space Dandy

Space Dandy is a Japanese anime series directed by Shinichiro Watanabe and produced by Bones. The series will follow Dandy, an alien hunter who is "a dandy guy in the space", in search for aliens with his robot assistant QT and a cat alien named Meow. ~ Wikipedia

There was some hype around this and I didn't really know why until I seen who was working on it.

I watched the dub on Toonami at launch, I wonder how the Japanese version will fare as far as some of the jokes go. Personally the dub was decent, I wasn't even annoyed by the robot's (QT) voice, and I don't like autotune. It was entertaining and I'll keep watching this.

Boobies, boobies, boobies. That's all anyone ever talks about. But you know what? They're all hopeless idiots if you ask me. Fools who are fixated on boobies don't understand what really makes a good woman. The single most important aspect is... HER ASS.

I watched it on Toonami as well and it was just awesome and wacky.I hope it'll be on iTunes. How many episodes are there supposed to be of this?

Why not both. A majority of us have two hands and a mouth, put them to their best use I would say.

I like boobs too, big and DFC no doubt, isn't it extremely rare in anime and hentai to see someone fawning over the posterior?

I should point out the boobies speech is different from english dub and japanese speak. I like the english one more but i can't type that fucking fast... youtube japanese web rip has around..

Narrator is pretty funny. That opening speech was epic too, even if I slightly disagree.

Not sure about this, but the for the Jap version there's an OP and an ED with voices + art not coming from the episode.

The ED is pretty cool. Really cool.

I can't say much for the plot but the show kept me entertained.

Not one bit interested in this, but by all means if any one has something constructive to say why this should be watched aside from using the words "awesome, tits, boobies, oppai" etc. please feel free to say so.

I might consider watching it, but till a year from now, and if its still some what relevant.
If a year from now, no one remembers this or has any fond memories other than "tits" then I won't bother giving it a second chance.

I would say funny but thats up to the viewer. It looks like it will have an ongoing plot that is probably silly as the premise of the show. At it's core it seems like a joke/gag anime, if you like that, come along.

People are saying the creator said it would at a minimum be 13 episodes, just pages like the Wikipedia page only show 4 so far until the names of the future episodes are released.

First episode was ok good thoroughly enjoyed it, animation is fantastic
looking forward to more

Art was interesting and the action was zany and over-the-top...as for the rest...I have no idea what to make of this show.

However, when they said in the Preview for Episode 3 at the end of Episode 2, so we are gonna have some extreme fan service for Episode 3, I expect way more T & A than normal, possible nudity (which will most likely be censored).

When I saw the name of the choke and puke was named "BOOBIES" I was like, OK, you got my attention, lets see what this about.
