[Anime] Sword Art Online (Postponed to Summer 2012)

First episode - awesome.

Man, this first episode really set the tone for me, especially the very last part...got a few goosebumps from that one to be honest

I gotta agree, the first episode was crazy good and hooked me instantly. :D

I'm in the middle of clearing the .hack games right now so that doesn't help matters either! xD

Wasn't that bad. Kind of like Saw meets hack//Sign.

I was thinking that the anime made boars the basic monster was a nudge towards world of warcraft.

I wouldn't lie, i was plentifully contented with what i'm seeing from the first episode. It'll be something that i can look forward to when i come back every week.

Read the Light Novel and was not disappointed by it. Watched the first episode of the anime adaptaion, was smiling throughout the episode for how good it was. My summer will be pretty sweet with all the animes.

The 1st episode stayed faithful to the light novel's prologue.

Episode one was awesome. I think I'm gonna end up really liking this show.

And yeah, it reminded me of .hack with permadeath.

As I read reviews regarding SAO, Ive noticed that a crap load of people keep on saying how SAO copied .hack. I for one dont know shit about .hack but SAO was written around 2002 and it took elements from Ragnarok and another MMO iirc. SAO wasnt serialized (if thats how you call it) until years later around 2008 or 2009.

Now someone tell me about .hack

Oh watching the SAO anime and being reminded of .hack is different since if Im right, the anime series of .hack has been out for like a decade now.

I've always wanted a good old classic fantasy/adventure kind of plot.
