This anime is hilarious. Haru protecting the chicken cracked me up, and when he jumped out the window. This is one of those anime that is great at switching between comical and meaningful moments.

I love the art style as well.

[spoil] I can relate to Haru when it comes to his personality so I automatically loved his character. The rooftop scene felt like the beginning of her new life thus the real starting point of the anime. Can't wait till the next episode.[spoil]

Haru's hand must be that soft when he punched that blonde guy. The episode is great. I think Natsume and Sasayan would make a great couple too. I can't wait to see more of the stranger that looks like Haru.

Shizuku and Haru are both just adorable and would make a great couple... I hope they get together in the end. Looking forward to seeing what part this stranger plays, he looks like Haru's brother.

I don't think any father is ready for they're daughter to come home at night with some random guy who's going to stay the night.

Tend to be cautious, on Haru's brother here. I doubt its just a brother complex and is something deeper, and he's probably not the nice guy he looks like.

I don't see what the big deal is. Assholes like that deserve to get the snot beat out of them. Besides, he hit first. Anyhow, drama and such, Haru has brother issues, and Shizuka wants a date.

so I picked up Tonari no kaibutsu-kun today

and I'm so glad that I did. The characters were awesome. This series is a great break from all the moe anime I've been watching. Downloading episode 2 at the moment.

was amazing as well. Half of the episode I was laughing (mostly the part where mizutani suddenly startled the chicken, then get's startled by haru after) and the other half I was getting feels. The episode ended well too. Heck, this series might be better than ToraDora.

If you like a shoujo Romance comedy, try "Kami-Sama Hajimemashita", it's about a regular girl, who suddenly turns into a local deity.

Honestly, most shoujo series are underrated. There's another one, called "Sukitte Ii na yo", but that's more of a serious love shoujo, since it openly speaks about sex and kissing.

At the after-fight scene, when Haru gently rubs Shizuku's forehead, I felt like a girl being excited over love-related stuffs. The episode isn't that bad. It teaches us a lesson about the fragility of reputations and probably the power of love. Looking forward to see Haru's background in the next episode.

At first I thought the story is going way too fast, but episode three and four proved me wrong. There's a lot of blank pages now that I think of it; Haru's brother, that dude with the yellow hair, megane-chan and Haru himself. Anyway, episode 5 is a date ep. Looking forward to it.

Also, when they were smashing the watermelons, were they doing something wrong?

Well his brother is pretty strange. He's got that sort of too nice attitude and he seems pretty interested in Shizuku, or how she goes about dealing with Haru. The next episode will probably be interesting if we see Haru's past and what happened with him and his brother. As always, this episode was hilarious and cute.
