[Anime] Yuru Yuri season 2

Seemed kinda Chinatsu heavy this week. Once again, she demonstrates that if it involves art, she should stay far away. That was a little more than outside the lines. The karaoke segment was alright, especially poor Akari singing a song no one knows. And lastly, a date! Can't a have a Yuri show, without the typical "But we're both girls" bit thrown in. It was actually sweet...and then the credits rolled...damn.

Yui really got the short end of the stick the entire episode. So many cups of tea, Kyouko being Kyouko, and a "date" with Chinatsu. I hope those bruises will not leave marks. There are already permanent mental scars.

That song was a great time for Akari to turn invisible.

Imho best ep of the 2nd season so far, I think.
The karaoke part was awesome. A lot of 'Kyouko annoying the others out', like with those rattles xD - need more of this! She's the main reason why first season was really funny and memorable imho, so give her more attention! Just my opinion ;-)
The manga drawing part was good, too - laughed at Chinatsu's "dance" ;-)
And Chinatsu's date...not bad^^ Fuckin' creepy ED we got here - though the song was cute ;-)

I hope I wasn't the only one thinking of "Coming out of the closet" jokes during that second segment. I mean...it's just too easy to pass up. Especially with Chinatsu in there. On another note, I can't say I'd mind waking up with Akane standing above me...but that's just me. And poor Akari...she can't even enjoy ice cream without being a butt-monkey.

This seriously has to be one of the best episodes so far, I really loved this one. I really liked how they paired up different characters towards the end. That's what's awesome about this series, they don't just only show the main characters. Lucky Star is like that as well.

The whole horror part was hilarious as well, and seeing Akane again was awesome.

New character combinations this time. I never thought of comparing Kyouko and Sakurako until now. Chinatsu seeing Akane over her was surprising, almost as surprising as Akari's sleeping face.

Hanging out with the Double-Tsun duo. Now we now why they're always fighting like a married couple...cause they sort of are! That little flashback was equal parts teeth-itching cuteness, and utter funnyness. Also...I'm curious as to who older sister was talking to. And poor Akari...just goes to prove that hanging out alone with Chinatsu will always end up going badly for her.

Sakurako is just too cute and really is a kid, Himawari is good to her. That flashback melted my mind. Didn't go too well as usual for poor Akari, Chinatsu had real withdrawal symptoms from not seeing Yui. I wonder who Sakurako's sister was talking to? I found it great that Himawari questioned if it was her "girlfriend" - it's cool it sticks to the yuri theme this well. And what was with those wooden swords at the end? I hope the next episode isn't the final, it said it is 'kind of' the final. I hope there's at least 12 episodes. I really want a third season, there's so much more they can do. I want to see Onee-chan pairings.

So thats what happened during the field trip. I'm not even going to ask about Sakurako's older sister. It was so cute seeing the younger Himawari and Sakurako arguing over who gets to be the wife. That was a great time to explain how yuri works. Hopefully Akari gets a break next (and final?) episode and nothing bad happens to her, she hasn't had much luck the last few episodes.

didn't they already had a field trip episode on season 1? Also it was on the 10th episode too at the 1st season.

Holy shit this was a pretty dark episode, I even teared up when Akari returned and they all started crying. I wasn't expecting time travel at all. Turned out it was something Kyouko just made up! The joke about Akari being the protagonist but having no presence was full on throughout this episode. And two Akaris for Akane, she loved it.

"The anime ends for now with the next episode, but Yuru Yuri will never end!" PLEASE SEASON 3!
