[Anime]Garo Honoo No Kokuin

Garo has some of the best 3DCG I've ever seen in the anime industry and the fights are often spectacularly choreographed. One of the big problems is that this is a prequel to a very popular live action(Golden Knight Garo, or just Garo) so the anime expects the audience to be familiar with certain elements and while they do provide exposition for those cases, it's out of necessity. I feel like this series is a hidden rough gem because of the stiff competition this season and with a second season coming, I think this series should get some love.

A taste of the 3DCG

It's not really a spiritual successor of the tokusatsu series though. They only used the characters and make their own story with it.

After a few episodes, it made me think that this could be a prequel for the tokusatsu series. lol

Yeah I never watched the tokusatsu but I'm seriously considering jumping into the tokusatsu after what the anime has shown me though.

Only watched the 1st season of the tokusatsu in the past, and although it was very good and I liked it, tokusatsu is not my thing. So I prefer the anime more at this point, haha.
