Bakuman

Man, this anime is finally picking up the pace!
It's really interesting since it's doing a non-main stream style which I like once in a while. Good thing so far it's still going. Wonder when it's going to stop, but anyway, the new 2011's anime series so far suck balls...>< they are either too echi or too sci-fi and the story hard to get.

YES I love this manga and I was wondering when they were going to get around to making and anime.

I started watching this last week and only have a couple of episodes left. I've really enjoyed it. The only problem is that it's only twenty-five episodes. The second season is coming soon, but I don't see why they had to break it up like that. They could have easily aired fifty-two episodes without having to do any filler and they wouldn't have come close to catching up with the manga.

So I'll be bumping this thread up for any discussion on the anime series.

So far I do enjoy the series as a whole. I will say though that the recent episode of Bakuman 2 (Episode 16) has some expressions from Aoki that I really enjoyed. I'll see if I can't post some caps


With this, I'm saving this episode. And yes, all those were basically in the same scene.
