So dvds number 3 and 4 arrived today for me. I decided to watch them and then realized that I wanted an English OST for the songs they play. Any ideas if the full english versions of the songs will be put on an OST?

You know, I just realized that they probably will/are releasing an english OST because of the music video extra on each disc. Or maybe they'll just keep it on the dvds?
I got 3 and 4 as well as 5 and 6 for $12 at rightstuf.com
Not sure if they still have that deal or not.

Cool a BECK forum I didn't think many people watch it. Great show and great music, started watching it on funimation.

Not only the anime was great, the manga's even better. The best part of the anime was that it had actual songs with full OSTs. Manga is almost done (which will end at vol34), and the anime ends around vol 11 or 13... can't remember. The anime was great with its performance and voice-acting, and I prefer Maho-chan's look in the anime than the manga.
In short, this anime was great!!!

I remember watching this on the Funimation channel. I instantly fell in love with it. The anime is really good, the songs were very good also. They're a lot better in Japanese though. Gotta love an anime that drops the F-bomb 10+ times in the first episode.

I Always seem to find you EVERYWHERE!
I won't Argue with you cause BECK is in my top 3 anime list of all time with the manga of course, next only to BLACK LAGOON!
But I believe MAHO is sooo Much more Appealing in the manga than in the anime. I need not elaborate cause it will only take a lot of space, believe me, it will.. and I respect your preference, either way, I LOVE MAHO in both anime & manga version!
+1 rep to you, simply coz' you're so UnLiKe the rest who only talks about shitloads of CRAP! you also seem to know what you're talkin' about, and mainly because You LOVE BECK as well! ~"KEEP ON ROCKIN'!!!"~
..just 4 chapters left to be scanlated.. :D

I guess I should return the favor, Beck fans alike. (Also a personal praise to me, thanks.)
Koyuki's and Maho's reunion at the train station was like one of my favorite parts of the manga - I keep reading it over and over. But the manga is like epic, and I learned a lot more about the music industry than I thought I would. The best part of the anime (gets old, but never ceases to amaze me) is when Koyuki starts showing his skills to others, and they're like, "OMFG, that was awesome!" Done by Beat Crusaders, I can understand why I thoroughly enjoyed the anime. Gotta love the "Full Moon Sways" song and the OP.

One Thing I don't like about BECK is...There is "no music" in the manga.
But seriously I loved BECK, I really got interested the first time when they perform in they're first "Grateful Sound". And I thought it was your generic Band anime/manga thing. :D

oh, so the manga is considered even better than the anime? :o gotta try that. ^^
The anime had a weak start. I actually tried the first 2 episodes and turned away from it. But a friend of mine saw it and told me I HAD to see it. I endured the first 3-4 episodes and then things started getting good.... really good! It's one of my absolute favorites now ^^
Too bad that the beggining is like that, I bet many people turned away from this awesome anime cause of it. :?

Beck has a manga that's close to finishing at I think the 34th volume. It goes over way more stuff and it's awesome as well.

This was an instant favorite for me. Badass music and the story was pretty good too. The engrish wasn't too bad because they seemed to actually make an attempt to try to get it right. I recommend that every avid anime fan should at least watch this.
I'm probably gonna read the manga while listening to the OSTs now because of your comments. I don't really read manga too much but I'll make an exception =)
