Best...Deal....EVER!!!!!

I'm just curious, and somewhat bored, so i'm going to post this and see what kind of answers it gets. :P What is the best deal that anyone here has ever gotten when buying and anime box set? Two of my best deals were a Love Hina Complete box set with all episode, including the bonus 25th episode, and all three of the movies, retail value set at about $150, I got it for $45. The next buy is one I recently found and ordered, and it was the Ghost in the Shell Perfect Limited Collection Box set, containing Ghost in the shell Stand Alone Complex, S.A.C. 2nd Gig, and all 3 of the movies, retail value set at between $160-$210, I got it for $63. So, what are some of your best buys? Just curious and wanting to know. :P FAKKU will never die!!!

And I would have to say the GTO box set for $35 I think, I have also seen all of Outlaw Star for $20 which was very tempting. And everytime I see thr Dragon Ball Z seasons for $35 I consider buying them.

Srry 'bout that Jacob, wasn't sure where to put it, so I just posted under 'anime', TY 4 moving it 4 me tho. And Outlaw Star for only $20?!? Damn, and here I paid just about $50 for it...ah well. :P

I got the ghetto version of Trigun off amazon for $20 and also Evangelion. Even if it is the ghetto version it still worked perfect and was cheap so it ruled.

Not a boxed set, but the best anime related deal I got was volumes 1-23 of the GTO manga for $92. Would have been $230 not counting tax in a store. Now thats a deal I'm proud of ^_^

That would be my Onegai Teacher DVD Box for 20,00 EURO = 31,19 USD. Normally you pay that for one DVD :? Anime are expensive in Germany :cry:

Best I've seen was a Wolf's Rain box set all episodes for $20. I wanted it but I was $3 short. I came back a day later with the $20 and it was gone. I almost killed the guy at the counter because he gave it to the customer who bought it for $16. Even though the day before I tried to barter with $17. I swear if the person who bought it wasn't a hot girl I don't know how else they could have got it. T.T

Yeah I saw the entire Outlaw star for 29 and almost bought it but I was 2 bucks short. It was gone when I came back. NOOOOO Melfina whyyy!!? Whur r u!? /sob

I think that one was the best deal I've ever seen for an official set. Bootlegs another story.

Revolutionary Girl Utena box set for $30. That's the whole series and the movie. That and a $50 Cowboy Bebop soundtrack boxset, but I'm not sure that's abnormally cheap. Thank you, ebay!

Thats about all the good deals I made. Still I thought that was kinda expensive...or rather the price I would actually consider reasonable for those two.

best deal I ever got was free quality hentai, right here on fakku...

And a Please Teacher Box set with the manga for $10, children are so easy to manipulate.

The first season of GTO for 20 bucks, and the complete Comic Party(I regret buying this) for 15 bucks.

For me, it was my Chobits box set for NZD$60, when it was normally $120. I love it to bits, even though I don't watch it much. Still reeling from my Fumoffu set, which was unfortunately, not much cheaper than retail price. Although I can say I got it at a convention though =P

My best deal ever has got to be when i got Marvel Vs Capcom 1&2 for only 90$ At the local Gamestop too and man did I feel happy
