But I still can't stop wondering why doesn't Yamamoto just whip Aizen's ass and get it over with.First Kubo, and second Aizen is so much stronger that Yamamoto I mean theres just no way he can hit him with Aizen's zanpakuto.
Ahem? Stronger... I HIGHLY doubt that... he's not stronger... he just has a gay ass ability that gives him the upper hand... you can say he has an advantage.. but he's NOT stronger the Yama-jii...
Yeah, there's no way Aizen would be better in terms of raw power. It's just that he's got jackass zanpakutou ability in his hands.
I can imagine Yamamoto telling the capitains to bail out and then just "turn all creation into ash". Developement like this would be just too epic for raw eyes, ohmygosh!

Now, probably the only ones with a chance to beat Aizen are all people who weren't present during that time Aizen did it.
Only a small hand-full... Even Ichigo got raped by that ability before if I recall right.
If I also recall right, the closest Ichigo got to Aizen is the chapter where he and Renji double-teamed Aizen and Ichigo got almost cut in half by Aizen after he blocked Ichigo's sword with one finger. Ichigo wasn't a victim of Aizen's hypnosis - Aizen back then was just too skilled for him (the same happened when Ichigo met Byakuya for the first time). I believe it's chapter 174, page 13-16.
Let's see... the only ones who can at least fight Aizen without the premise of hypnosis are... the ones banished before Aizen became captain (Urahara, Yoruichi and the rest of the Visored), Ichigo and friends, any possible Shinigami not present during Aizen' presentation of his sword ability (if any), and Aizen's two cohorts (who are unlikely to defect).
Hopefully the storyline parallel happening inside Hueco Mundo can now be presented. It's about time - 8 of the 10 espada are dead (Yammy and Szayel is still alive, the latter infected by slow-motion drug of Mayuri), and a return of scenery would be nice.

Actually he doesn't even need Ichigo... He needs Orihime's power and Ichigo was the one who went to rescue her..
And yes Kisuke should show up already....Omg There are still so many Bankai's/Shikai's unrevealed yet... I hope Kubo actually finds time to show them all..-_- I would get pissed off if Bleach ended without Showing, Yama-jii's bankai and the rest's as well.

This chapter is alright though I'm not too happy about Shinji needing Ichigo's help. Not Ichigo, Orihime.

I wanna see Shinji's bankai. This chapter was pretty cool, compared to last weeks chapter.
side note - Orihime should use her powers to bring back all the dead Espadas and make them fight Aizen for betraying them. I wanna see that happen. Or not.

Hm... noted. Well, guess Szayel is as good as dead, anyway. Grimmjow... probably I'm still wondering how he could still be of any plot use - he's wounded heavily by that scythe guy #5, not to mention the beating he got from Ichigo.

Now that would be funny!
But i think Aizen would just kill them again just as easily...

Therefore, Grimmjow surivived. Simple and common rule in Bleach, you should already know that.

if this was turn based, We'd have Ichigo be Shield for Orihime since his life is like that of a cockroach, while everyone go for aizen, if they die orihime can just heal them

I figure if you put Ichigo, Yammato, and anyone else in the front, then Orihime and Hachi in the back, you can have Ichigo, like you said, shield Orihime, while Yammato and the other guy wail on Aizen, and then Hachi feeds Orihime elixers and casts Bolt 3 When he can........Wait....Wrong Series, no one in Bleach runs out of Spiritual Energy until the battle is almost over, so they can complain they just didn't have enough energy to finish the attack and kill him
Anyway: I can't tell if Grimm is dead or not, seems unlikely, because he was popular, but with Ulquiorra dying, all bets are off. but Szayel got stabbed in the Heart, so he's gone.
I wonder if Ichigo will keep that new Hollow Mask for next chapter. It's Cool, but when you think he's gonna have to summon it and remove it, it's just gonna look silly because of how ridiculously huge those horns are.

Plus if you take in consideration the actual anime filler, this sounds about right.

Oh and a Zanpakuto is an extension of the users soul so it's part of there strength, and raw power isn't the only kind of strength the ability of distraction/ illusion to detract opponents is power all it's own.

Thus, if we're talking about combat power, Yamamoto ought to be stronger.
But yeah, since Aizen has his zanpakuto as it is, nothing could be said for sure.
It's just if they were going just for physical power, Yamamoto > Aizen. This is probably just a plot hole that they haven't fought yet, but if the theory that Yamamoto is holding back because he doesn't want to cause too much damage to his captains/surroundings was true, I guess the second he stopped holding back, Aizen would get smashed miserably.

First Kido, Second Aizen has proven he has enormous strength. Stopped Ichigo with one finger, stopped Renjis shikai (bare hand) and stopped Kanamora's blade (bare hand) as well. On top of all that battle stats have his Physical strength at 80, while the Commanders is at 60. So in pure physical power it's Yamamoto < Aizen. In fact the stats Commander has better are defense and agility, everything else equal and by the way they are rated with equal stats.

Actually, Commander is 100 in everything but Physical Combat.
While that is Brute Strength, it is considered a Separate category from Swordsmenship, which he has a 100 in, while he also has a Kido of 100.
Concrete stats are as such
Aizen: Offense (100), Defense (90), Agility (90), KidÅ (100), Intelligence (100), Physical Strength (80) Total: 560/600
Yamamoto: Offense (100), Defense (100), Agility (100), KidÅ (100), Intelligence (100), Physical Strength (60). Total: 560/600
That's a lot of information, but it boils down to this: Aizen and Yamamoto both have the same Swordsmanship/Offensive Power, Kido Skill, and Intelligence, Yamamoto wins in both Agility and Defense by 10 points, while Aizen wins by 20 points in Physical Strength.
The question thus boils down to, is 20 points of Physical Strength in Aizen's Direction enough to overcome Yamamoto's Slightly Higher Agility and Defense?
But then we factor in Zanpaktou's, and we realize we can not really make guesses. Aizen obviously has no qualms about releasing his Bankai and killing everyone there, making him far more Dangerous then Yamamoto, who is still attempting to protect all people on his Side. If you remember, even Kyoraku and Jushiro were hesitant to let Kyoraku's Zanpaktou use it's full abilities with so many people around, With Yamamoto being so much stronger, he would have the same concerns, which the Genocidal Aizen has none of.
You could say the Fight boils down to one factor: WHERE are they? If they are fighting in an area where Yamamto could severely injure or even Kill his subordinates, like they are now, I give the advantage to Aizen. However, if Yamato were to give the order for all Shinigami to Back off and let him handle it, we return to the stalemate of needing information on their Bankai's to be able to accurately determine the winner.
Yamamoto is at a disadvantage currently, but that does not necessarily make Aizen STRONGER, just he has the advantage of Terrain, which could be classified as just as important as strength, but the only way to be capable of telling who would win in a straight fight would be if they got transported to Huecco Mundo and fought it out in the sand with no one around.
