I vote Naruto.
The battle of the episode 133-134 of naruto (Naruto vs Sasuke) is one of the best ever and almost all the Rock Lee battles are insane (Rock vs Gaara is awesome). The story is not bad, but I dont watch naruto for the story.
I think that Bleach is in the same kind of anime that you watch for the battle and not for the story, but I dont really like the battle in Bleach.

I voted Bleach hands down. In my opinion, the series is way more structured with a way more in-depth and interesting cast (meaning you can follow all the captains, enemies, main characters, etc...I mean come on, they even have numbers if you can't remember the name...). The battles are more interesting (sword fights > ninja attacks) and plot moves at a better pace. Also I seem to remember a tremendous filler arc in one of the two that really did it for in terms of not watching the anime anymore...
But hey, its just my opinion in the end.

I voted Bleach, why? Simple although I love Naruto Bleach is better simply becuase Bleach's filler was actually good and didn't feel as much as a filler whereas Naruto's filler well yea.

Vote for Bleach... More blood and prettier grrls than Naruto...

Basically Naruto has more potential than Bleach. Bleach jumped ahead and now there aren't much left to do with the series. However, Naruto killed itself with the fillers so it's pretty much equally.

Is it possible for all the bleach characters and all the Naruto characters to fight. Then the battle rages on for days and days. Then once the dust clears Hiraga Saito walks out with blood stained sword. Damn that would be some ending.

Easy now... you are becoming me.

No I'm still me yet I feel full of raw power. I feel as though I could just walk up to my door and kick it of its hinges. This power is coursing through my veins and I like it.

Now you know what I was talking about love and rage being one and the same.

I reckon they're both great anime shows - no matter what other people say about them being too 'mainstream' and going for the popular ones: well they're popular for a reason, aren't they? They're decent shows, though they've both had their fair share of fillers and dragged out moments.

I'm going to say Bleach because at least the manga-ka didn't start the series just to experiment with a joke.

After thinking about it, I voted for Naruto.

Hey, neither am I really into shounen nor am I your typical shounen hater. I've been watching the first Naruto series until episode 138 when filler ruined it and I watched Bleach until the middle of the Bounto arc. Also I tried reading both manga, but only the Naruto manga managed to make me stick with it.

While both shows have good concepts for a shounen show, there are a lot of typical flaws. The stretching of arcs like Soul Society or the chase of Sasuke made me lose interest slightly. But in the end the different fighting styles of Naruto and the fact that it has the superior characters made me stick with Naruto and it got it my vote. I actually prefer the concept of Shinigami and stuff, but Naruto (note: I'm talking about the Manga here, can't get me with Unlimited Filler Works and the endlessly slow Shippuden) just is a little more catchy.

I think both anime/manga are great, but I think Naruto needs to work on keeping their viewers/readers more interested and wondering whats going to happen next like in Bleach.

I tried to read bleach, but it didnt caught my attention. it was boring like hell.

Naruto is not one of the top mangas like claymore, mpd psycho, one piece and others, but its definitly better then bleach

bleach anime seems to do slightly better than naruto at the moment, but the naruto manga will always be better than bleach.

I really love both mangas and hate both animes.... the fillers are too awful... though the naruto manga is more interesting, bleach is definitely more stylish 8) , cause i really love bleach characters!

If it's an anime question, to be honest, both suck. Pretty stereotype Shounen series with DBZ fights ala "uberstrong opponent - hero gets smashed - usewhateverspecialmode - beat up opponent - opponent levels up - hero pulls off some secret hidden ninja omgwtf technique - opponent pulls off some secret ninja omgwtf technique - hero does last life-consuming imba attack and wins heavily wounded", stretched to many episodes to keep the fans watching.
The Naruto anime was never too good to start with and destroyed itself with fillers. Though Bleach was really awesome till the Bounto Arc, it's nothing more but a pain to see a rather good manga being mutilated by boring anime episodes.

As for the manga, I prefer Bleach for the setting, the fights and the pacing. Naruto had some golden moments (and the slightly better art) in the first couple of manga volumes but couldn't really get me excited later on. The whole "it is your destiny to bekome hokage" thing or the endless search for Sasuke were a turn-off.
