We get awesome names like Valvrave the Liberator..then we get Buddy Complex. Soo according to the trailers it's about some sort of futuristic matchmaking app that's somehow related to fate and giant robots?

Soon as I saw the mechs I thought, "Code Geass? Knightmare Frames?"

I just hope it'll be better than Valvrave.

Hmm... Giant robots, high school students... Really cliche if you ask me but I guess, at least they sure are keeping tradition until now for this genre.

Might as well watch it.
...And after a few years, it will be included in Banpresto's Super Robot Wars...

So it's a time traveling Gundam Knockoff?

The time travel alone was enough to make me want to drop it right off the bat... Then the "random nobody designated as special" and "hop in mech, not knowing how to use it, and achieve instant win" formula's made things worse. But I don't think I have a lot to watch this season and Valvrave got me to lower my expectations for mech series, so I'll be trying to continue this as long as I did valvrave (10 or 11 episodes).

It was actually pretty good towards the end

I just couldn't get into it.

Felt the same, And main reason was probably that I really enjoyed GBF more as a mecha anime.

And I get to dl/watch them both at Monday. There would be times after a day of watching(even rewatching and rewatching) Gundam Build Fighters, Oh yeah I dled the other coupling mecha anime yesterday.

If there would be a S2 then I hope it would more interesting

the other 12 episodes were just bland...just the last episode really stands out though.

I just hope that the next season all of the episodes stands out.

Funny I watch ep 1 (season 2) of Gund.... Buddy Complex and it starts like it's on the last 3 eps of the series. Not that it's bad, it cuts out a lot of the non-combat shit, and gets straight to lazers and explosions, which i like.

edit ok it was a 2 parter. So that explains it.
