Character Tiers (READ OPENING POST)

So I was just browsing TV Tropes and came across the Super Weight System. It got me thinking about overpowered characters... So I looked through the examples and was interested in finding more characters that would fit Rank 5.
So if you have any characters you would like to nominate for Rank 5, then please put down their name, which anime they're from and why.
You can also discuss whether some of the examples on TV Tropes fit or not.

Basically, any character that fits Type 5 is overpowered like there's no tomorrow. So who would you consider to be the most overpowered character(s)?

Everyone in DBZ...

Lucy from Elfen Lied
Shinigami from Soul Eater

They are pretty op.

every person who has had control of a gundam...just saying

Griffith from Berserk.
(well he's probably more like tier 4, but that's the only one i can come up with atm)



DBZ characters are tier 3 at the most.



I know Lucy is fukken OP, but i can't remember any of them having reality warping powers that put them in tier 5.



Seeing as how they're just normal people controlling the Gundams...no.

While yes Lucy does not have any reality warping powers, she does pretty much hold all of humanity in the palm of her hands (vectors). And Shinigami is pretty self explanitory (god of death).

The only one I would agree is the root shiki from Kara no Kyoukai
Example? She can kill anything, including time and space. She can literally shaped the world into whatever she wants it to be like.
every time she uses her mystic eye of death to kill something, it is not as simple as shiki from tsikihime, her version is "reconstructing the world into one that without the existence of that one thing".
In short, she is OP as HELL.

Haruhi is also possible but then she has a limitation, which is never knowing when the power would be activated.

That doesn't make a difference. A lot of characters can destroy the world so to speak, but that doesn't make them Tier 5. Same with Shinigami.



Though I have to agree that Accelerator is a total badass and completely OP, he can't warp reality. He's on a crutch, can't talk properly, but can still kick people's asses though =D
I think Touma has the potential to Type 5 though, at least according to the info on the index wiki. Imagine Breaker, when strong enough, can dispel reality or something. Of course this hasn't happened yet and is just speculation.

The Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann can probably make the cut for Type 5. The thing can bloody meld galaxies together into balls of pure energy and throw it. Saying it's OP is an understatement.
So yea, a lot of shit goes down when this guy fights. In that one scene of the movie(?) where they fight the Anti-Spiral beings and their two super final attacks collide, it causes the dimension to collapse.

I'd probably place Dark Schneider from Bastard in tier 5, although his powers don't include reality warping (from what i can remember) he's certainly strong enough to be placed in that tier.

Probably the high end of Tier 4 I think. Although, as you've said, he is incredibly powerful.

Also, I think each Tier might need sub-tiers...

Gao Gai Gar.

Gilgamesh from fate/stay night. His weapon Ea is capable of destroying the world and opening a rift in reality at full power.

Ideon, it can destroy the universe by self destructing and is the most powerful Robot in Super Robot Wars.

Giorno Giovana- his stand can bend reality.

Chiyo-dad- Norio Wakamoto can force the animators to turn a 20 second long segment into a 1:30 long segment with his voice.

Reimu- has the power to float out of reality and spam you with endless danmaku. Fantasy Heaven

Yukari- has control over all borders physical and metaphorical.

Yuyuko- does not even need to think about killing someone to kill someone.

Deadpool?- he can lean on speech bubbles.

Kyrie Illunis from Sands of Destruction- he can return everything to sand.

Strike Freedom Gundam- has supreme plot armor.

Jack Rakan- he can deny reality bending powers and is stronger than the main character.

definitely Ichigo from Bleach, (Seriously, how many powerups does he friggin need!? i mean c'mon! Emiya Shiro had like one or two power-ups, and he managed to beat not only his future-self, but friggin Gilgamesh!!)

hmmmm.....Kamijou Touma I suppose? you know, he has the whole "Harem" thing going, plus he has imagine breaker, which cancels and destroys magic AND science

Its been declared that Ichigo is a tier 4 and thus not completely overpowered.
Touma... is probably a tier 2.

Tier 5 Overpowered is God like and Author like...

Ichigo is tier 4? As someone who barely follows Bleach could could i have a reminder of what feats he currently has?

Super hollow form against Ulquiorra after having a hole blown clean through the middle of his chest, hollow form then proceeds to rape Ulquiorra and then regenerate Ichigo back to how he was before said hole in chest.

New form for his Zanpakuto after beating Zanpakuto/Hollow fusion off screen which instantly made him strong enough to bitch slap butterfly Aizen.

New form immediately after that made him Getsuga(whatever that really meant) followed by technique that was pretty much a Getsuga Tenshou nuke that completely decimated Aizen to the point the Hogyoku that was inside of him rejected him and made it so that Urahara was capable of sealing him away easily.

All of which was never explained....as far as I can remember.
