I dont know if you guys heard about this but some people are making a new fan based story that is gonna take place after the actual story.What do you think about it?
So . . . someone's making a Code Geass fanfiction? I'm sure that's been done before. Is some huge group doing it? Is someone going to actually make some animation for it?

For Christs sake, I refuse to believe that, after Orange recovered from full-body radiation damage, and Spinzaku recovered from being inside a fucking exploding knightmare, Lelouch can die, in the capital and center of his empire, from a simple sword thru the sternum.
Seriously. We have people with MODERN medicine surviving wounds like that. CG's Sci-Fi medicine should be able to easily cope. It's like there were no hospitals in the capital, or something.

They've already released further details on that new Code Geass project that was announced, and it is to be a side story, not a sequel, and is titled Code Geass Gaiden: BÅkoku no Akito (Source: ANN http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2010-04-22/code-geass-gaiden-bokoku-no-akito-project-announced). I doubt that Lelouch will make an appearance, much to my disappointment. He may appear as cameo though.

Escaflowne's Kazuki Akane directs side story set on European warfront
The Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion Kiseki no Birthday event video release is announcing a new anime project called Code Geass Gaiden BÅkoku no Akito on Friday. The side story is set in the European warfront, where a unit made of boys and girls from Zone Eleven is sent into a military operation with a 5% chance of survival.
Update: The BIGLOBE website began streaming the event video at midnight on Friday. The event video is also available in Japan on Blu-ray, DVD, and UMD.
Update 2: Kazuki Akane (Escaflowne, Noein - to your other self, Birdy the Mighty Decode) is directing off scripts by Shigeru Morita (Mobile Suit Gundam Seed, Toward the Terra, Blood+). As in the previous two television series
, Takahiro Kimura is adapting CLAMP's original character designs for animation. Akira Yasuda is also returning to design the mechanical Nightmare units. The anime studio Sunrise, the previous Code Geass director Goro Taniguchi, and the previous series script supervisor Ichiro Okouchi are credited with the original story.
The new side story is set in a.t.b.2017. A Knightmare unit made of boys and girls from Zone Eleven are thrown into a military operation with a 5% chance of survival. They must rescue an allied unit left behind on the European warfront.
Now I may am talking about different thing here, but I did not hear any announcements nor rumors regarding a sequel. You probably misunderstood or it may completely be a fanmade sequel.
