Seeing as she failed to hit a damn bottle, a pair of big ass birds and a street punk at point blank (not to mention getting easily disarmed by Hei), lakes and walls seem to be the only things in any real danger.

Fun ep with an awesome lesbian rape premise and a badass, child-abusing Hei but I definitely liked the previous ones better.

After episode 4 you know that at some point Kirihara is going to get forcibly kissed.

I'm kinda hoping for more. Much more ^_^

It’s a sound speculation but it's nowhere near what Hei suggested in the previous episode, nor earlier on even. Think about it, has anyone who’s ever resorted to alcohol's comfort look any hopeful of anything? No No No and NO! I for one think that Yin is really gone, for good. And after some careful consideration, I’ve developed a strong feeling that Misaki would (or should) soon follow.

I doubt the Hei right now would hesitate (else he would suck even more) to eliminate anyone getting in his way of what seemingly looks like another typical vengeance-driven quest, especially snoopers like her. Although after saying that, it’s almost unlikely that she’d actually die by his hands but still, I wouldn’t ask for anything else than to see it happen anyway; one way or another, may it be by accident, Hei putting an end to Misaki's existence shall prove to be my greatest pleasure in watching all this.


I’m not looking for any explanation, I’m just saying that (no matter how much you look into it) Nika’s, whatever his name was, demise was hilarious! Hei, may he have been weaponless, vestless, powerless, or sleeveless (nor may his enemy have been a pro) doesn’t fuckin justify anything. Though he has yet to start acting as one, he still IS the goddamn hero/protagonist in this show and that's all there is to it.

Funny you’d say that; the irony of getting something unwanted and not getting the exact same thing when it really counts. I very much anticipated someone dying in episode 4 and in all honesty, I wanted Norio dead. Heck, he’s even reappearing in the next episode?

I just have to say I... apparently am one of the only one's who enjoy this series, I like how Sou is now. I like a despaired Hei. What's you're problem with killing off characters as soon as they come Hermit? I like it.. makes room for new ones:P. Although I miss seeing Hei gorge himself on an insane amount of food. All in all I like the way it's going.

I never did once say that I hated it, or did I? Well, I'm pretty much on the verge to be truthful. I really don't know what I'm gonna do if ever I shall once again see the sequence where Suou draws that huge-ass rifle out of her pendant... GOD!

My concern on major-ass looking characters dying in an instant is hardly significant at all. To simply put it, I'm still coping with Yin's absence in a sequel which is moving in an entirely different angle, pace, and direction than I had imagined. Not to mention that Hei is becoming more and more of just a babysitter to some new kid on the block, who's got one hell of an attitude problem for someone who supposedly have lost the ability to tell apart hatred from love.

What else can I say; it normally takes a good period of time getting used to a whole new scenery. The thing is, when you've had a very different set of images kept in mind for so long, further setback is just to be expected. For now, I'm hanging by a moment... The feeling which I had back then for the first series just can no longer be found.


How about you, or anyone watching this for that matter, tell me what makes this sequel stand out from the original?

Seriously? I must say that the comedic parts in episode 4 were flat out embarrassing.

First off I would think that you would be able to tell that Suou's "attitude problem" is intentionally there to make you wonder what her deal is. She indeed does not act like a contractor should - but then again neither does Hei.

Secondly I assume you already know as much but do not let your preconcieved notions about how this season's pacing or "feel" should be ruin what will probably be a very entertaining season. I remember watching the first season I thought, "well, this is weird and very ambigous. I don't know whether to be annoyed at that fact or curious" Maybe since there is not a huge mystery about contractors like there was in the first one, the intrigue is a bit diminished.

When Hei snaps out of his stupor, I believe this will become familar again.

I forgot to mention that the worst thing about what the sequel's been doing is misleading the viewers by developing Suou into a 'moe'-tractor instead of focusing more on what truly matters. Developing her character in such a way as they did in the previous episode is redundant, regardless; unless this sequel should last for more than just one season (or 12 episodes).

As for what her deal really is, that should rather be self explanatory. The typical teenage girl who's just reached the age of puberty, still dealing with a barrage of very recent horrible experiences, and currently suffering from mental/emotional instability brought upon by the changes of becoming a contractor altogether. Sure, she could very well be another special case like Hei but hypothetically speaking, her pendant could merely be housing that power of which is not even hers to begin with. In other words, she might be just a temporary/conditional contractor. Ever thought about, what if that pendant wasn't hanging around her neck?


I pretty much have none. All I ever brought with me was the wholesome experience of the first season and an impartial set of fairly good expectations. Indeed, this has been (decently) entertaining thus far but since I've already got a number of other series that's keeping me entertained in a certain similar yet much superior manner, I hope they'd stop threading the same line and showcase some more relevant stuff in accordance to its theme; more action, less moe!


While the first season is nowhere near what you can call a masterpiece, it was harmonious in that it started out from scratch, crawled its way to fulfill its purpose, and arguably lived up to its name/title. I don't think it's simply a matter of intrigue diminishing nor interest dropping, it's just that the sequel started out with ONE HUGE QUESTION MARK (?). And that's one taboo concerning how an ideal sequel should be like, in my very own definition of an "ideal sequel" that is.


And that will happen around... the latter parts near the end of the series most likely? In any case, I'm not really counting on Hei getting all so suddenly rehabilitated, in fact I believe this(his character makeover) to be one of the sequel's better offerings yet.

Lastly, the fact that I'm still watching should tell you that my interest is still intact.

Kirihara looked a bit surprised when she saw it, maybe someone from the preview season? who knows.

I'm quite sure that those trucks were a decoy though. As far as I'm concerned, the whale(submarine) which Suou have seen in the last episode should already be transporting the "item" to its destination (with care).
