Well I thought I might start aswell a discussion over D.Gray-man. I really enjoy reading it, one of the few mangas I have kept up with since the beginning.

However it does look like the break Hoshino took paid off. The last chapters had all a pretty good quality. I rather wait 1 more week and have an awesome storyline like the current one :).

Actually this is the second time in a row this has happened. first, she stopped at chappy 183 because of a wrist problem, then she came back and did 3 new chapters, and stopped again. I'm presuming she wasn't fully recovered, and re-injured herself, that would be the most probable case.

I heard that it had to do with someone copying her character designs to the point where it looks almost the exact same. I'm not quite sure though.

i heard that her current reson for a break was a VERY serious illness. it was on a anime news website but thats just what i hear at least the manga is supposedly starting back up in aug. but that yet aain is a rumor ill believe it when i read the ch

You know, this is the only series I've ever read that's ever been put on hiatus, and it's been on hiatus not once but three times! Maybe more, but I think it's been three times.

well i have seen other shows go on hiatus for shorter periods of time never for as long but yea it will be sweet to finally see it back in a few weeks.

Be happy you never tried to read Hunter x Hunter than :P I have lost count of the number of times that one went on hiatus, came back for 5-6 chapters and went into hiatus again.
