Do you hide your taste in and your favorite anime and manga

Fellow members i don't know what title should i post it as if you know a better one and if you want me to re-post it let me as know as for me as a fellow anime fan and fellow manga fan no i don't hide my tastes in anime,manga and my favorites so far that I'm aware of unless it's hentai,hentai manga,doujinshi and hentai games and hentai stuff then i might as well and hide them and don't worry I'm including live action,live action shows,live action movies,hentai,hentai manga and foreign movies/foreign shows etc. etc.

Now it's your turn Do you hide your taste in anime and manga and do you hide your favorite anime and manga?

Please be honest when you answer it and if you want you may answer should i hide my taste in anime and manga and hide my favorites if anyone even online ever asked me what's my favorites anime and what's my favorite manga since it varies and yes my list of favorites may or may not be a long list and if you like a list of my favorites if i do have a list of favorites let me know and hopefully MOD allowed me to post a link to my list of favorites from a site.

Yes, but only because only one other of my friends like anime and I don't speak to him much.

At Comic-Con I made it pretty clear I liked anime, however. They didn't seem to care much so that's coo'.

I'm completely open with my tastes in Anime and Manga.

The only thing I hide is my taste for Doujins.

When your preferred fapping materials are almost all Rape / NTR / Chikan / Loli / Shota / Trap / Cheating / Blackmail / Forced, you tend to get a bit shy in sharing that info

Or think he's a freak or weird when you're just a normal person with different tastes other then that i agree about what you feel or how you feel :).

I know you said in another thread of yours that your late 20s or something, but you sound either really young or very inexperienced with the social world. A lot of people stop caring about your interests after highschool or at least don't say openly bash your tastes unless they are assholes that never grew up themselves.

Anyways, I use to be more shy about telling people I liked videogames, anime, hentai, etc. I don't really make it known that I am some sort of an okau or a gamer, but if the conversation arises I'll talk about it sure. I'll mention I'm into hentai if the conversation comes up since I have had a couple of instances where I was perfect to bring it up (it was seriously a topic for some random friends of my boyfriend and it was epic; weren't fakku users though sadly).

I guess for me it's just a matter of "when is it appropriate". I know right away when the people I talk to wouldn't understand my tastes so I just move onto something different that we can talk about. I don't make my whole life about one subject or hobby, I have a variety for any sort of occasion.

Every one knows im a sick twisted fuck. If i don't hide my RL fuck tastes why would i hide my weeb tastes. Except loli... that too much for normal people to understand. Plus i don't fap to 2d.

Same for me. If it comes up, I talk about it. If not, no big deal.

Not really, all of my friends know I'm really into anime, and I don't really hide it from others, I just only talk about it when I'm talking to someone who I think might be interested. Hell, we hired someone new at work today who I found out watches anime and such, which is awesome because I didn't really have anyone at work to talk to about nerdy stuff.

Still haven't told anyone I'm into hentai though.

I'm not sneaky enough to hide my hobbies so I'm just open with them - none of my family really expects anything extraordinary of me, and I'm fairly content living a humble, low-income life, as long as I have animu.

I don't hide my taste in manga and anime from my fellow FAKKUers, but I do so with my friends in real life. Most of them simply don't care about Japanese-borne entertainment, and those who do usually like comedy or mainstream shonen stuff and criticize everything else. :/

Most of my family members and friends would assume that most animes that I've watched are pretty nonsensical with boobs as the plot drive (even though I rarely watch such animes), so hiding whatever anime I'm watching would be pointless since they think that way.

I have no confidence and adjust my taste in x to fit the opinion of y.

no of course not just your honest answers will do and yes some people do hide their taste in anime and manga and other people don't hide their taste all depends on the person of course so no that's not what I'm saying at all :).

People around here tend to mistake people with different tastes as otakus if they catch them watching anime and manga, which is why I hide my love of anime and manga as I don't really want to get into any sticky situations.

I don't hide my love for anime. Being in Japan is a huge reason why, though. :P

Even so, I tend to keep my anime clothing to a minimum (mostly it's just a shirt, sometime a couple pins on my bag) just so I'm more 'easily approachable'. I don't play the stereotype very much, except my love for Touhou is massive and one look at my room will tell you enough. xD

Sometimes I don't usually mention if I like some of shoujo manga series like: Trinity blood, Kamikaze kaitou Jeanne or DN Angel for example... well sometimes is hard to see the difference of these serieses about are they shoujo or unisex or shounen genre... I usually hide my like of hentai too... well that's about it.

Well I don't give much of a crap about online, so I can freely show off the Greatness of Loli's. But if a friend where to ask, I probably wouldn't give basketball playing loli's as one of my favourite animes.
