Durarara!! to air on Cartoon Network's [adult swim] block

Yeah, so after months of people talking about how Cartoon Network is "trying to kill anime" by not airing anything except Naruto and Bleach over and over again... They just made an announcement that they picked up Durarara!! and will start airing it in June on their Adult Swim block, as well as stream it for free on their adultswim.com website.

This oddly happens right after I post about SyFy possibly canceling its own anime block.

I can think of couple other anime adult swim needs to play before Durarara!!

Funny how I finally am getting around to watching it. I got caught up on other series I added to my list before DRRR, and just last week I started watching it, I gotta finish it before Adult Swim starts airing it then. What's the exact date in June that it starts airing?

Probably 9:30 pst 12:30 est... where kekkeshi was or taking over Cowboy bebop's place...

this still sux i wish the states had a anime ch and if i knew the rules i would try since i hate how other countries see our shit asap but we dont...

Was DRRR's dub any good? Might watch it just for the sake of watching it on TV and not computer.

I guess I might actually wait for it to air on TV, since I haven't seen it before. Hopefully the dub is good.

Yeah, so it's airing on June 25th at 12:30AM EDT, right after Bleach and before FMA.

As much as i love Durarara!! I will stay away from it on adult swim. They went down the wrong road before and i can't forgive them for it.

I like as.. bleach and ghost in the shell is nice in English.. drr is a anime you watch once and never again... at least to me..

I'm glad that Durarara is coming on adult swim. It's definitely one of the better shows for them to pick.
