It's never revealed what L stands for. In Volume 13 of Death Note (its just an omake hon (extra book) that covers lots of minor details of the series) it says L's name is L. Lawliet but not what his first name is.
And ummmmmm, Yusuke x Keiko from Yu Yu Hakusho. I just generally like the series/characters and as far as I remember Keiko was pretty much the only girlfriend in an anime that doesn't get all retarded and bitchy at every possible opportunity.
Kino x Hermes from Kino no Tabi is cool too. Hermes is like a ten year old girl inside a machine (motorcycle) and Kino is like a machine inside the body of a ten year old girl.
Youkou x Keiki from Twelve kingdoms. Youkou is one of the best examples I can find of a character that goes from being insufferably irritating to being quite awesome; largely due to her own hard work but also from Keikis influence and guidance.
Lastly, Koyuki Tanaka, Ryusuke Minami, Yoshiyuki Taira, Tsunemi Chiba, and Yuji Sakurai from (and forming) BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad. Great anime and the guys are all cool. Music is good too.

they pretty much make up Lucky Channel... really, does Sebastian really get that much attention and popularity than Akira? well, yeah, he's an extra who gets more air time than an idol and is named after the dubber...

why? i like mysterious poker-faced quiet girls with a sense of humor, so i pair them up with my favorite protagonist voiced by Sugita (awesome voice actor; strong voice, great acting)

obviously the main pair and i like to pair up characters that are voiced by my favorite seiyuus (Sugita and Aya Hirano)

Tessa acts all cutesy and retarded but being the genius she is, i can't help but think that she's just putting up a facade...
and it's always fun to see deadpan, poker-faced Sousuke get all flustered around a super moe character like Tessa (is Tessa seducing him? or is that how she really acts? plus her rank/status makes it really complicated for Sousuke) (Sousuke looks different in the manga though; like more facial expressions)
btw, i liked how KyoAni worked with FMP:SR, really gets ya into the mood... like the cute haircut scene

i never thought that Hige was attracted to Ojou at all
besides being totally dense about her feelings, Hige hates her because he thinks she's rich, spoiled and bitchy (at some times, he sees a little spark of light in her... although never enough)
Hige was simply like a total gentleman and his indifference to other women, especially towards her, challenges the uptight playgirl Eri
eventually, she starts falling for him and Eri herself isn't that experienced with love...
Yakumo on the other hand, has a deep admiration and respect for Harima... besides being a "rough" guy which is kinda like her type, Harima has a goal that he zealously pursues... as such, a man with a goal and unwaling determination, and lack of romantic interest in her (unavailability), makes Harima attractive to her (don't forget that Harima is unpredictable and is a very reliable man)... but then, Yakumo doesn't have that much experience with love and her self-sacrificing personality, which keeps her from pursuing Harima like Eri would, doesn't really help... unless that ghost that occasionally shows up does something...
let's not forget this pair: Hario x Tae-san
sugar mommy x bad boy mangaka
that "bad boy" image, self-control, lack of interest/indifference, blah blah like i had just mentioned above, keeps Tae-san interested in him

Tenma and Harima are totally alike... both of them are as sharp as a bowling ball and equally as dense... she's totally retarded but at some point, has some sort of hidden talent... like how she turns into a master at cooking when she's in a bad mood and has some innate martial arts skills when someone insults her little sister... as long as Harima and Tenma's relationship goes on like that (as friends), Sukuran might last long until their graduation
heh, i like that Tenma was the heroine and Harima was a minor character...

why the hell does this couple look so cute? i'm not sure... "Hey! I can see your belly button!" "Can I touch your scar? I've always wanted to touch your scar."
Kazuki just does some childish things... it's always funny to see how the used-to-be-lonely Tokiko would react to them
