So, I didn't see a Fullmetal Alchemist thread on the master list. What does everyone thing of the ending??

The ending, huh? I honestly admit how satisfied I was with the ending.



Hmnn...if I can find fault here, it would be the small amount of screentime on the minor character's story. C'mon, I want to see more Xing! Hopefully, the proclamation of the new Xing ruler would be animated at least. I guess that's it for now. I can't nitpick yet while I'm still in this state XD

Yeah the manga's ending was pretty simple...and I actually like that. I really like how it ended, nothing stupid or out of the ordinary. Just a plain simple nice ending that sort of tied everything up.

I cried manly tears at the end. I also was yelling at father when he gets sucked back into the gate. "YOU GET BACK IN THERE BITCH" i forgot my window was open so the entire block probably heard me. I still stand by that comment. and Ed's proposal to Winry using the metaphor of equivalent exchange was win.

it was a great ride reading Fullmetal Alchemist till the end...i'm glad i read this manga when it came out in 2001 or 2002...thank you Arakawa-sensei for giving us an awesome manga for a decade...i will miss Fullmetal Alchemist, especially King Bradley...and i will be waiting for her new artwork...8)

actually the author/artist of FMA is a 'SHE'...8)

Can someone update us on her new work in the future?

how can it fail, which one do you meant? if it's the brotherhood,then it's the same story for god sakes....

...i obviously ment the first one that ended with that shambala movie , i realize brotherhood is based on the manga storyline , i was talking about the one that was actually completed..badly IMO ,and if you ask why I feel that way I ment it more as a comparison kind of thing, FMA is a great anime in it own regards but comparing it to the manga it falls way short..again IMO

Just finished this, and I haven't had a Post Series Depression (PSD) in a while but FMA did it. I guess I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to her next work.

I think they got married. Don't know about the kids though...
