Man I fucking loved the first episode, so far it easily beat any premiere this season has offered.
I like that they kept the scenes showing people going to their lowest, kicking their best friends away to be fed for example. I'm guessing the DVD and Blu-ray releases will have a bit more gorey scenes to look at, but it wasn't toned down that much in this to be honest.
Can't wait to see how this series will evolve, Madhouse may have another winner on their hands.

Awesome anime! There was a lot of suspense and action. It's about time a good ecchi anime has come especially with zombies.

That was so freaking amazing. Maybe I should read the manga too.The artwork for it looks god-tier. I might end up not reading it though, because watching/reading the same thing twice in a row kind of has me lose interest in it.

First episode was great, really did the manga justice.
Can't wait for the next ep.
And lol@the obvious 28 Days Later theme rip off at the end, although it suited the anime nicely, obviously.

And lol@the obvious 28 Days Later theme rip off at the endI thought it was a nice homage to another good Zombie story. I didn't actually think that the music was what it was at first, but it's definitely unmistakable.

Got Megane?
Finished watching the first episode, and like everyone else I loved it. I've been trying to make time to read the manga, even more once it was announced that there would be an anime adaptation. So should I stick to the anime for now and once its over read the manga? Or will reading the manga while the TV series is airing help or hinder my viewing experience?
