Am i the only one who's getting sick and tired of See'ing Shounen/Seinen animes lately having some heavy Fujoshi bait shit?According to you, we're talking about both.
Also, Accel World is shounen.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Accel_World
It's a Seinen, and even if it WAS a Shounen, it's a Harem, protagonist is surrounded by girls, i'm talking about a Normal Shounen anime, Sports, Action, etc etc etc, also notice the examples i gave are Shounen.
Is that all you wrote or is the thread bugged?
@Black Jesus
Most of those aren't new, H.O.T.D was an ecchi, harem, and so was Highschool DxD, Duh. bad examples are bad.

Oh no not another one who's stuck with the "90's are better" shit.
You're problem is not with the "actual characters", but with the Fujoshis
Here's what you're missing "ANYTHING that have more than 1 male characters will also appeals to Fujoshis".
Your so called holy sport Anime "Slam Dunk" Also has many Yaoi Doujinshis. Fujoshi's can make any male characters into a fag. It doesn't matter if the authors deliberately made them as Fujoshi baits or not. It doesn't matter if it's shounen or seinen, it doesn't matter if it's shoujo or josei. If that title has more than one male character, Fujoshis will still be there
Fujoshi's are a "niche" market group for most sport titles, most authors don't intend to "bait them", but Like I said, ANYTHING with more than 1 male character will also appeal to the fujoshis.
ex:
was Tiger and Bunny intended to be a story for Fujoshis?
was Ookiku Furikabutte intended to be a story for Fujoshis?
was Prince of Tennis intended to be a story for Fujoshis?
was Sengoku Basara intended to be a story for fujoshis?
Answer is NO, they were made with the shonen demographic in mind.
Most of the demographic that watch/read shonen sport animes are there for actions. They don't watch sport animes expecting cute girls unless it was made like that ex: Rokyubu, Softenni.
Most Shonen readers are 10-15 year old boys. So, of course authors of sports titles will make characters that is easy for them to aspire to be, which is good looking and good at sports characters that has the same gender as their demographic. Kids likes characters that are cool looking and Guess what fujoshi also like to see "Cool looking male characters".
TL;DR, You're barking the wrong tree.

Oh, i think i get the "inb4 kaimax" comment now.
Although i can't deny you have a point there, despite them not being intended for fujoshi, they just pop up out of nowhere.

You lost all credibility or respect from me when you said the word "fag". Either get over or watch another anime.

This was a weird and invalid thread. Who care what in the mainstream of anime currently being put out by money hungry mediawhores in japan who greenlight shit because they're popular mango or Ln and they wanta money and not because they're good stories or OC. Pick the ones you like and watch. Why bitch about other's taste and go with what you wanta see. You know they release 15-30 anime series a season.. one or two will be fine.. your not kaimax, you don't need to watch everything.

If I were you, I'd just stay away from them fans of the bishounen category. They tend to get a "little" bit crazy with their fan-coupling system.
OP, you should understand the concept that the character is influenced by how they were drawn. You can't just blindly alternate the male physique of a bishounen into a pure shounen typical rugged-face bastard. The characters are what attracts people to read it believe it or not. Sure the story can be great but the characters also must play a role into fitting in the storyline and to the audience. People pay their money (at least people who supports the magazine enough) to read something that appeals to them, and a storyline to boot with the appealing characters.
Kuroko no Basket: It's an ALL-GUYS BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT The hell can you do about that? Not very likely that they can stabilize the number of male and females there.
Katekyo Hitman Reborn: It's a MAFIA. What normal women wants to be in a fucking mafia family?
Psycho Pass: All I know is that it's the same artist as KHR.....What more do you want from the artist man? Can't change her style.
Why don't you see that these bishounen guys are attracting more girls into the catergory of seinen/shounen series? There's so much stories that you can get with just pure shoujo/jousei. Hardly do you get shounen or even battle material in there. There's where shounen/seinen comes in to explore more literature of manga of these female audience. Even though, there's some eye candy for them to be mainly distracted by but hey. An audience is an audience. It can attract a variety of people within one genre. Just like guys can read shoujo/josei manga for several reasons, girls should be able to read seinen/shounen for several other reasons too.
If you want normal shounen OUTSIDE the big top three( is bleach still up there?), Fairy Tail, and Toriko are several other choices.
TL;DR: All in all, accept the character for what they are, not what they attract.

... you're really gonna get bothered by character designs instead of lackluster plot? Even if they're bishies and fujoshi bait as you call them, plot will still radically differ, and character development will be done differently. If those suck, THEN you have the right to complain.
Besides, Urobutcher's writing the script for Psycho Pass. Expect something grimdark 2DEEP4U stuff, like in Fate/zero and Madoka Magica.
