So I want to make a topic where contender for the best anime fight can be nominated, then I'll make another topic with a poll on it wit hall the contenders.
Everyone post what they feel is the best fight in all of anime they've ever seen, post it here, and we'll see what ends up winning out.
As for myself? I'm a bit of a fanboy for Kenpachi Zeraki, possibly the only character that I actually watched Bleach for, and his fight against Nnoitra was so many different kinds of awesome. It's a long one, but worth every minute.

Truth be told; I haven't watched that many fighting animes. So my favorite goes to End of Evanglion. And yes that is Air playing in the background.

I couldn't remember any good fight scenes that I've watched. The fight scene between the coup d'état and King Bradley from Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood probably isn't the best but it's entertaining.

Jewtube doesn't have the Clarie vs Ladd video from Baccano, so I'll just say to go watch Baccano.
Araragi vs Kanbaru from Bakemonogatari was a pretty good one (although it's mostly just Araragi getting the shit kicked out of him).
The Hellsing OVA has a ton of good fight scenes, even if they always end with Alucard massacring everyone.
One of the most heartwarming fights in anime, Keiichi vs Rena from Higurashi.
Madoka Magica actually had quite a few good fight scenes, I particularly liked Mami vs Gertrud

The scene where Barnie and Christina fighting in the woods for the last ep of Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the pocket was one of the most tragic and memorable battles I've ever seen.
