[General] Do you always watch OPs and EDs?

This question applies to both ongoing series but maybe more so series that have already ended where you watch one episode after the other.

I always watch both. But there was a time a few of years ago when I was watching completed series and with some of them I would watch the OP but skip the ED because I wanted to get onto the next episode. But I don't do that any more, I don't see the point of why I ever did it. I think it was K-On! which made me stop skipping EDs because the songs were awesome.

Probably a weird question but I'm just curious because of what I did above.

It depends. If it's an ongoing series, I'll always watch them unless I really don't like the OP/ED. However, when I'm marathon-ing a series that has ended already, I'll usually skip it. I'll watch it sometimes when I feel like it though. It depends on how good the OP/ED is.

For example, Joshiraku has a godly ending song (good OP too). I watch that shit every time. On the other hand, Natsuyuki Rendezvous has a slow and sappy opening that I can't bring myself to watch every time. It's not bad, just too slow for my taste.

I don't normally watch them, I have them going while I'm on example Fakku. Browsing a bit. And after the OP is done I return to the episode. In other words I don't watch them I listen to them. Even if the song is terrible.

But regarding the endings. Then no. I usually switch/turn off it when that appears. But if the ED is like Joshiraku or Azumanga Daioh then of course I'll watch the entire ED.

So it really depends on the song and whether-or-not I have a internet connection.

It depends on how good it is. If I like the op, I always watch like Neon Genesis. If I dont, just skip it. Same with the ED, If I like it, I watch. If it changed during the season I'll watch it. Also on the final episodes of some, I will watch the OP and ED regardless If I like it or not.

I usually skip both. I'll watch them once, maybe twice, then I'm done. Even 30 second openings like Panty & Stocking's I skipped. However, I might have watched the Madoka ending, Magia, every single time since I really like that one.

Well I have to LOVE the song in order to not skip it.
But if I am marathoning a show then, whether or not the op/ed is good, I will skip it to save myself time.
And I can always get the ops/eds songs I like to listen to all I want.

^ same as above. I am also more likely to watch the OP because I often play games at the same time so I'm too lazy to skip it.

Depends if they're good/entertaining.

Example: Death Note OP 2 is hilarious.

Depends. I'll usually watch the OP, but sometimes I'll skip the ED unless I like it or something comes after it. Though, I'll usually go off and do something else while they're playing.

If I'm in a hurry or I don't like the OP/ED, I'll skip them. Like Hajime no Ippo's 3rd OP. It's boring, and it makes me sad because the first two were awesome.

I always watch the OP and ED at least once unless I absolutely can't stand it. If I like it I will watch it every episode from then on.

I watch it the first time and if I'm not up and dancing at that point I'll probably only let it play when I'm off to the bathroom or something.

First times yes, if it ever changes, etc, and usually for the last episode as well.

If it's really good and catchy or something though, I'll watch them every time. But it takes a lot for that.

I always listen to it completely the first time (even if it's awful throughout) but, after that, I skip it if I don't like it.

If I like the songs then I'll listen to/watch the OP or ED, otherwise it gets skipped.

I tend to not watch them until I'm towards the end of the anime. Unless I think it won't spoil the story in any way. Cuz I like the surprise of a new character showing up and stuff, not wondering, "When is that guy going to show up?"

I do tend to watch them frequently if I'm rewatching though.

I normally listen to the OP and ED if I like it I'd continue to listen to them, if not, I'd skip everytime

Unless i like the music i usually watch them a couple of time before skip.

It doesn't matter what kind of anime it is. If I'm watching it, I will never skip the opening and ending.
