[General] H.O.T.D. possibly revived through sales
0
So I was at Barns&Nobles earlier, and I noticed they were selling Highschool Of The Dead. I didn't pick any up since I wasn't really planning to buy anything therefore I had no cash on me. Do you guys think it is possible that H.O.T.D. may be continued if they reach enough sales? And the chapters are all up to the latest too. My only dismay in the translation was Seiko's "I'm wet!!!" to being changed to "I'm drenched!!!" Am I just being too hopeful? Almost all of the volumes were sold out except for volume 7 and one volume 4.
In fact, I noticed a lot of manga that wasn't there before. I mean the latest chapters of Railgun, Yotsuba, they even had Triage X. It's not a small bookstore either. All I know is that I need to repair the lower shelf on my bookshelf to make room and get ready to break into my savings.

I've been seeing them in bookstores for a while now. Ide love to see them continue it. And i did notice an increase in manga at Barnes and Nobles last time i was there, there was a shit ton, almost an entire aisle dedicated to it.

Increase in the American or western market wouldn't mean shit. HOTD sales in japan is what the greedy fucks need... which is good there, but the manga is stalled. Why... i'm not sure anymore.

The "hiatus" of HOTD doesn't have anything to do with money or sales.
It's mostly because currently the authors doesn't feel like continuing it atm and are focusing more of their attention on their other series. Most notably Shoji Sato with his Triage X, his "solo "release.
