[General] Specific Anime/Manga sections going to be merged?

This was my decision, I think overall it will be a good thing, though I realize the change is hard to handle right now.

Can we at least get the anime specifics as a sub-section?

Or a sticky.

There may have been manga section threads with the same name as anime section threads. Were those threads merged?
I second the question for subsections.

I respect your decision, but it has become quite confusing to browse the section now.

The only thing I can suggest now is making subsections to separate specific discussions and the general discussions.

There is one thing that we are all wondering... WHY? Why the sudden change? Surely there must be a logical reason as to why merge 3 sections that are not even nearly as neglected as some other sections.

Will you be making sub-sections? Everything is just haphazardly placed at the minute and my mind is blown looking at all the threads, it's never going to process.

Yes, making subsection would be good.

I, too, was against the idea, but since this site belongs to Jacob, he belives it is a good idea to merge the "Anime and Manga" section, "Specific Anime Series" section and "Specific Manga Series" section together.

The best alternative solution I had, was to place [Anime], [Manga] or [General] in front of each topic title.

Should we try it out? At least until our pleas to have separate sections are heard by the higher management...

And if I have to, I will look through all 300 pages to edit every single topic title...

I am already going ahead with my idea, since the "Anime and Manga" section and "Spcific Anime Series" section were my first and favourite sections when I first joined Fakku a few years ago.

It would help if the thread starters edited some of their own topics too.

My only thought about this is: Holy shit, the search function for this ain't gonna work for this huge pile of mess (not that it was working that great either way.)

And yeah, I can't search for my threads that was in the anime specific and manga specific. the search just acts that it doesn't exist.

Edit: Oh wait.. I don't know if this is because I'm a mod, but To search for threads that was in the "Anime specific" and "manga specific", you need to change the filter to "them".

Even though, the fact is, those section are now empty in the trash bin.

BTW, The Anime Masterlist is basically worthless now, since Jacob moved it to a "different address". the only I got when trying to open it, through search is "problem with redirecting".

I suppose a lot of other issues on Fakku needs to be fixed. Oh well... like i mentioned, if I have to, I will look through each and every topic in the Anime and Manga section, whenever I have time on my hands.
