named Charolette from Madoka.... I have my reasons.

I probably have a few more I could name if I really tried to think about it, but I don't hate any characters quite like how I hate Shiho from Mai-HiME/My-HiME.
I wanted to strangle her throughout the duration of the series.

I mean, look at her mug.

Huh...never did have a list or a top hated char in mind...

Meh, here's a list of a few.

Shinji Akari (Eva)
Shinn Asuka (GSEED Destiny; admittedly, the whole show was a piece of crap...but god...anger issues and no development whatsoever)
Haruyuki Arita (Accel World; I tried to keep an open mind with him, but every new development he goes into ohmygodiamtheworstpieceofcrapever mode)
Aria Holmes Kanzaki (Hidan no Aria; cliche tsundere, and a cause for having Holmes shaking in his grave)

Every dense male character who are surrounded by a friggin' harem.

Suzaku from Code Geass, especially in S2.
Hes ruined the show for me.

I hate many characters, but On top of the list goes TO!!!!

Naruto Uzumaki for being such a fucking retard.

I used to hate Sasuke more but having a constant need to smash Uzumakis head with a sledgehammer puts him on a second place.

But i read fanfiction and i find this gold.

Though lately Ive had an utter distaste for Ayase and Manami from Oreimo, Levi from Shingeki and Yozora from Boku Wa

Just Takano from Higurashi.

There is just no other character I dislike to that degree. There are some really stupid and badly written characters out there, but that's another story.

Saori Shikijo from Machoromatic. She really gets on my nerves.

Keita from KissxSis because of his unwillingness to tap twin ass.

Ichika from I.S. Pretty much self explanatory; got 5 girls fawning over him yet is blissfully unaware of their obvious advances/feelings towards him.

Kirino from Oreimo. She's so tsun she came off as a bitch.

Kirito and Asuna in SOA's second half. Asuna became a clichéd damsel in distress and Kirito turned down his cousin for a girl he met online.

Hate is a strong word but I think I can safely say I hate Chitanda Eru from Hyouka with a passion. This is for various reasons but I swear if I have to hear the words "I'm Curious" utter from her lips again, I may consider suicide.
