[General] Will you expose your kids to anime?

I grew up watching toonami back when CN had naruto, zatch bell, one piece, inuyasha, etc. hell i even watched sailor moon (oh the memories!). today's shows aren't the same.

I've already started my younger brother on anime. It was my birthday gift to him.

Well, duh. Better than most live-action shit these days. Of course, I'd start with something appropriate for their age and tastes.

Sure, it will just give us more to talk about. Just have to start them off on the digimon or some other classic anime I watched as a kid. Let those teach him/her some moral lessons because I will have my own anime to watch.

Expose? Like it's something to hide or something?

I'm not gonna shun them from it but whether they like or not is up to them. More than likely they'll be introduced to it like I was. Saw it on tv one day, liked it, kept watching it from then on.

I'm with Loner on this one. I won't prevent any children I may have from watching it, but I won't try to make them watch it. It wouldn't be good if I tried to get them to like something via unnatural means.

I say start them on the tentacle rape early. Will grow up to be the coolest kids on the block..or at least the most entertaining.

Hell, when I was a kid I was already watching anime I just didn't know it. Same with them.

Yep. I'd start my kids on Naruto or Digimon(not Shippuden, cause that has some terrible writing)

I'll expose anime to them and they will like it. If they don't then I will be severely disappointed and cry. //sarcasm

My little bro(12 year)just starting watching anime on his own.maybe it's because he always hear me laughing in my room.that he started to wonder what i've been doing.so i told him that i watched anime,so he tried it too now he's addicted to it all he watch at first is Naruto then he started watching Beelzebub,Soul eater,Black cat,gintama etc.Mostly action,comedy genre anime
