so who thinks this is really the last episode, i certainly don´t.
but i have to say the anime has quiet caught up with the manga, so if they want to release a new episode every week the will have to put in certain amount of fillers.
but as we all know a filler episode of gintama isn´t even as bad a manga episode.in fact most gintama fillers are even better then regular episodes of other animes.

I though the anime series will stop for a while prior to the Benizakura movie? Forgot where I heard that, they announced it somewhere before Ketsuno arc iirc. But you know Gintama, they just love to troll around (Shiroyasha no Koutannn FFFF-).
Filler eps are more hilarious because they're not in manga so I didn't know the jokes already and couldn't predict the gags.

Although the series ended on March 25, 2010 with a total of 201 episodes, Fujita hinted the anime will continue once the staff get enough material to work on it. Takamatsu claimed the TV series "is absolutely not over. It hasn't even begun yet! It will definitely return."
