Gundam 00 Second Coming

well my fav is the 1st season's last epic fight - especially Halleluja's -

Is it just me or did this season just suck. they should have just stopped with the twin drive upgrade but no, double 0 just had to be capable of human speech. things just totally went down hill from there. graham, after the battle w/ setsuna just magically disappears. marina was stuck taking care of children and making hit songs. as for saji... why the hell is he piloting the 00 raiser?! the raiser always docks immediately to the double 0 after launching from the ptolemy. couldnt they just have an auto pilot for that like the attachments of the impulse gundam of destiny? saji is USELESS.

and to think i had such high hopes after the 1st season... well, at least the gundams looked cool.

i dont agree with all of that terms but hell yeah Saji sucks ^^ well i hated him in the 1st season too... and this Louise-Saji thing was... well... shit ^^ anyway i still think its a gr8 Gundam series and still love it ^^

Yup, Double 0 talks. Or at least it can to Setsuna. If i am not mistaken, this happened in Episode 11: Voice of 00. Well, hope they tie up the loose ends in the movie. But i do which there is some progress with the SEED movie...

Are you sure you're not mistaking the 00 for the voices of the people around it?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that Gundam 00 doesn't talk... Maybe you mistaken it for Haro or the voices of all the people talking.

00 doesn't talk. The GN particles released after Trans-Am enables people to talk/hear out thoughts.

Season 2 does not suck and Saji is not useless

Its just that season 1 is a bit more better in telling the story compared to season 2.

Next time when watching a mecha anime especially the real robot genre try to focus on the mechanics, functions and the reason of why the mecha have the certain ability to do so. While its agreeable that 0 Raiser can dock immediately its sensor function still needs to have a pilot to properly use it and to perform 00 raiser trans-am. I repeat 00 Raiser trans-am not 00 trans-am even with the 0 raiser attached to it. In case Haro is damage a pilot could easily replaces it, certain weapon of 00 raiser can only be activated by the pilot...

For me removing Saji story elements from the series will make the series boring, Saji is what makes me really like the series. He's sort of tragedy character who gets suck into the conflict and later plays a role in CB's fight against the innovator.

thats true what u saying but i still think that Saji~Louise were annoying... i understand that they played a big role in the story, tellin' that how they had sucked into this but if u dont give up/dont choose a bad way/dont run away and so on u will know whats the right choice, and they played role in setsuna's innovation ~i think~ etc etc. But still... they were annoying ^^ not offense, just my own opinion ^^

Nah I don't mind if its your opinion and I can understand why people dislike Saji since his character for some tends to be pretty emotional sometimes. I'm just merely stating that Saji is not that useless regarding in piloting 0 raiser. I can't force you or anyone into liking a certain character, everyone have character that they like and dislike in the certain series.

Honestly if you asks me who is the useless character in the series, my answer would be Marina Ismail. Not only the series but the most useless character in Gundam history. A pity she's one of the character who fell victim to story writing, it the same way I felt towards Shin Asuka a character with lots of potential destroyed by a certain guy waifu ideas...

I agree with you, Marina is useless. The only thing that was most significant for her was her song that helped Setsuna question why he's fighting. Everything else was pretty much a waste. I still can't believe she got more screentime than Graham in the last episode. Those 3 minutes could have gone to better use imo.

Wow, you really do understand the internal structure of the 00 gundam :shock:. You sure you arent Aeolia Schenberg? Hehe, kidding aside, you mentioned the 'tragedy character'. this sounds a whole lot like kira yamato of SEED.. except, kira does the fighting while in 00, saji is just a spectator in setsuna's battles. but hey, if saji is what makes you like the series, i have nothing against that.

As for Marina Ismail, yup, i agree. Outside of playing Setsuna's potential love interest and conscience, she has been utterly useless. However, the same could be said about Louise in season 1. Who knows, maybe Marina ends up piloting a gundam in the upcoming movie (yeah like that can happen..)

I can see her now, she's using 00-Raiser, activates Trans-Am, then starts singing Tomorrow... with the kids inside :P
