It is such crap that we will never see Inuyasha finish!

I find myself so pissed off from time to time that we will never get to see Inuyasha finish itself out. Last time I checked [which was a while ago] there were over fifty of the mangas, with no sign of that stopping. But how many got adapted into the show? twenty-some. That's it. The show didn't even make it to the thirtieth manga. My topic for today is simply this; what do you think caused this whole thing? I've only heard speculation, and most of that is the voice actors stopped getting along and eventually quit. For this to be true, it would have had to occured in Japan, Where the show was first adapted, but that begs the question:
How hard can it be for a few dozen adults to get together and lay down vocal tracks? Seriously!! Anyway, I just wanted to vent. I cannot even watch the show anymore 'cause I get sad just thinking about never seeing the end of such a great series. I guess I'll just wait for the translated mangas to come out.

The manga's finished and has been for a while.
As for the anime, all I know is that it's not that uncommon for long-running anime series based on long-running manga series to not adapt the entire series. A nice example is Hikaru no Go: Most of the series was adapted in the anime, but the last little bit wasn't. I'm not sure of the reasons, but it just happens.
The big deal with Inuyasha, I think, was that there were over 150 episodes, and there was no end in sight for the manga. Perhaps ratings weren't as good as the people in charge wanted, so they decided to end the anime and focus on other something. The point is, it happens a lot.
Also, according to Wikipedia, the anime covers the first thirty-six volumes of the manga, not just twenty-something.

Oops! That was my bad. Enough Gin for today. Oh, and I think there's 167 episodes.
