Just curious?

Why is code geass so popular? i mean the hentai is pretty kewl and u can go a lot of places based off the story.

I just can't watch the anime because of the art in it. does it not drive anyone else crazy how skinny and slinky looking the art is? i mean its sharp and they do an "ok" job in it.

they just look so off i can't get into it. maybe its just me, but i wanted to see if anyone else had a problem with the art? Or do you think the story is actually good enough to take your mind off of the art? Do u even think the art is bad? in comparrison to others?

What makes people/you watch code geass?

I have no problem with the art at all, it's what you would expect when CLAMP stands for the character designs.

Imo the story is good enough to give it a try, even if you loathe the designs and so on, and the ending was probably one of my recent faves, pretty epic.

It's not popular without a reason, so give it a watch.

Code Geass is epic. It's my second favorite anime. It's definitely worth a try. BTW shouldn't this belong in general discussion?

Made a request for the series earlier and I finished watching the whole series season 1 and 2. I liked the art even though the male protagonists do have a bishounen look but like KLoWn said it's due to CLAMP. Even though I loved the series. The story is just epic. Some Lelouch//Kallen action would have been nice but hey you can't get everything. However the ending rocked. One of my recent favourites as well.

hmmm well it seems like there is something to the ending, not sure what but if you say its epic it must be something good. maybe i should spend some time this weekend before finals getting in some code geass episodes. If other people can live with the art based on the story alone, then it can't be too bad.

i still need 2 watch it 2...dang..hmm...ok i promise 2 morrow i will watch at least 10 eps...or maybe even the whole first season..depends on wat i might do..but ill watch it and see if i like it...

At least your reason for not watching it is better than the reasons some other people give. Anyway, the designs never bothered me. You usually don't see them full-body anyway.
