Sorry but I disagree, they will just end up faling to live up to the anime in the end.

And will thus, ruin the last chance of continuing the story.

I know this is Kyoto Animation/BANDAI's cash cow for the moment and it sells extremely well, but I'm hoping they don't milk it to death. But why a movie? They could have just done a live concert event a la Suzumiya Haruhi no Gekisō, and it can sell just as well.

I'm hoping that the film adaptation to be good, I'd hate to see this nice series get teabagged by a bad movie version.

ahhhh, really a movie... this show is kind of overrated, it's not bad, but it's not great either...but I'll probably still watch it.

Ah... I'm a k-on fan but... I don't think you deserve negative rep for that ^

I know everyone wanted to see a "final act" of sorts like them having a big concert or a time skip showing them grown up and successful but, I like that the movie is in High School. Who is to say we wont see more of them in the future now? :)

Apparently the story's going to feature some 'heavy' plot points like 'possibility of band falling apart,' 'friendship,' etc.

I watched it last night. As expected, awesome movie.

You're damn right you should watch Beck. As for the movie, it's a moe show movie, there's gonna be very little plot and a lot of cute girls being, well, fucking cute. I'm still gonna watch it though, just expecting a whole lot of tea.

This movie was perfect. My expectations were blown SKY HIGH! The pacing was excellent, the animation was superb and the scenes were absolutely beautiful, especially the one on the school roof top. I will never forget K-On!
