Noooo! Why are we given one only for it to be taken away 5 chapters later? After reading chapter 23 it looks to me that the manga is ending, I really hope that's not the case since I don't want another Mx0 rushed ending.

Not the case, the Volume sells starts out at 4 of January. And Kagami's rank in Jumps TOC is middle low, at least it can still have the "power" to rise up from the bottom 5 on top of Magico and STARS.

Like I said many times in this thread STARS is the most possible one to end.

We've just been introduce to one of the most important plot twists in the series.
Confessing to "one" of your true love means he/she will forget about his/her feelings

This is enough to prolong the story, since Harisugawa doesn't want Satomis feelings to disappear and will try find out another way to break his curse.

Fair enough, but it also seems that Satomi might be moving away. Thus you can see why I am worried about an ending approaching.

I like style of this author. Of course canceling Mx0 pissed me off and i hope it would be continued someday but this is also nice and funny.

If Kanou wants to expand this a little, going to the mirror lady to find a "cure" is probably the right thing. But turning this into a love comedy from the scratch without the use of the mirror is kinda blasphemous to the title.

Satomi forgot her love with Harisugawa. But she somehow teared up. :(

Kagami no Kuni is ending next week in Issue #11 (Now it's issue #10)

This is probably due to the decision made by Kano-sensei, So it wasn't because it's receiving low ranks, since in the 1st Volume there's a note saying


At least, this one "ENDED", and wasn't canceled resulting in a rushed ending like Mx0.

Let's just all pray, that Kano-sensei can actually come up with better story that can actually expand.

I actually commend Kano-sensei for bringing this series to an end at his own terms instead of letting it go on it's own with the usual BS cliches that most shounen mangas have like Pastel(the author should learn how to end a series already).

Though if he can make it have an interesting story line like Mx0 then I wouldn't mind even if he puts in alot of fillers.

Ditto on Pastel, IMO that's been dragging since they got together. I think I remember reading the first volume when I was still in school actually...

Too bad about Kano Yasuhiro again... Will he ever get a decent length serial? Mx0 is the longest one so far isn't it? Was such a waste that got cancelled... I saw in some one-shots he did darker stuffs, I wonder what he'll do next.

This series was nice for a short series, and like other have said, overlooking the length, it's good he can finish a manga on his own terms.
