This one is pretty good, but kinda got bored with it's "You-can-do-it-if-you-try" Theme.. :roll:

well yeah...it's a pretty generic theme for Children's Anime...But sounds good..I'll go for it and that Ghos Stories...
Btw kaimax, do you have any Suggestion for animes that are similiar to Rune Soldier and Record of Lodoss War??...that kind of Rune fantasy themed anime...

Sorry thread necromancy but, it must be mentioned that Kaleidostar contains copious amounts of yuri subtext with almost a dozen of well played potential pairings and some reach more subtexty of resolutions.

Kaleidostar is between good and average with cute characters, but despite its many flaws, this show is unexpectly still one of my favourite. There's an "international" feel on it.

I liked this anime. At first I thought of Yuri as a prick for what he was doing in the first season when he took over Kaleido Stage. And was alittle sad to see Layla go after the legendary great manuver. But what I don't like is that they made it seem like the Legendary Great manuver was the greatest move. And in the second season they just tossed it aside and had the Angel's manuver seem more grander then the Legendary Great Manuver.
They also made Leon kind of a prick in the second season as well, and I saw him in a different light when you learn of his past. IMO, it would've been fitting if Sophie was Leon's lover and not his sister.
And yeah, I always got a laugh out of it as well when fool would try that. :D

@theotaku: I personally didn't find the Legendary Great Manuver to be that interesting, and I liked the Angel's act much better. I think in both seasons they both male leads as the badasses, but of course there was a reason behind it.

This was like one of those "baby-steps" Animes for people who are just getting into Anime. I'm sure you all know thats just my Opinion! ;3
I Enjoyed the anime, It gave me the "Feel good for no reason" Sensation, that most anime cant provide.
Overall i liked the originality of the story and setting of the anime!

Saw the last episode (48 or so, with some super grand performance) on a local anime channel... gave me a rather pleasant feeling, so I've downloaded some episodes and now I'm waiting until I get more time to watch it. :)
