Need not worry about Gambler in this one. :lol: I've been lacking in dosage of shoujo-animes in the past couple of seasons... been following too many gar series as of late (Shin Mazinger, Souten Kouro, etc) and only Hanasakeru Seishounen is the closest that I've got.

Finally, just finally... As I've always enjoyed the immortalized cliches that comes along every single shoujo-romance genres, I just know that I'm gonna have much fun with this one as well. I'm sure of it. :) And with Production I.G in its core, just how the hell could this adaptation possibly go wrong?

Sawako - is a shy yet honest girl who is in search of friendship, but her resemblance to horror film character Sadako and Sawako's tendency to shy away from correcting people of misconceptions prevent her from doing so.

Kazehaya - is Sawako's outgoing and friendly classmate. He is so popular that during middle school, so many girls liked him that they formed a "Kazehaya is Everyone's" Alliance in order to maintain some level of peace among his admirers and more than half of these girls now attend the same high school.

If you can't tell, I sure am looking forward to it. :)

Does she look like Sadako? LOL Maybe she's the cute version of Sadako ^_^ Anyway, they DO look good together, and it's a good shoujo piece for October :) Can't wait for this one.

The first volume of the manga is supposed to be coming out here in the US, and I'm definitely picking it up. ^.^

wait waht? this look cozy :) yay and not those stupid harem ones too (hopefully not) and feels like a great theme for a doujinshi
judging from the Sakura theme it's probably gonna be some heartwarming parts i jsut hope it's not a bittersweet lovestory

Not only that, I was even more surprised to hear Mamiko Noto as Sawako!! It's really been awhile since she's been in the spot light (lead role) of such a series as this. I also have to say that she fits the timid character of Sawako pretty nicely, even only after hearing her twice in this preview. :D -This might just catapult her back on the top of my favorite seiyuus' list. (Rie Tanaka's currently number 1)

Know what, I'm even more astounded :shock: to see a post from theO!? It must have been so tough for him to post in one of my threads considering how much he hates my guts. Lol, I'm just glad that spalose even considers me as one; even after my "mocking" of his photo in another thread. :lol: -I sure am pleased as well to have yet another series which I can enjoy with you bro. :)

i went and reread the whole series after i saw this cant believe it went on hiatus but at last the wait is o ver xD

I watched episode one, it's about what you would expect from a Shoujo anime, however I enjoyed it.

I love me some good Shoujo...

Whoa, this one got me right on the spot! I've got the same feeling as if I were watching 5 Centimeters per Second again. Screw the whole shoujo thing, this is the kind of series I love to watch.





But seriously, what's with the quality of series this fall? I feel like every single first ep I saw during the last week is better than most of the stuff I've seen in the last year... seriously, what the?

I was actually reminded of Clannad's opening sequence, but I can definitely see where you get the 5 centimeters feel from.



I know, right? I'm following so many shows this season, and I hope that I can keep up with them all.

As for the first episode, loved it, but that was to be expected. I've been following a bit of the manga, and I was enthralled by the adventures of Sawako, Kazehaya, and the rest of the gang. I'm just psyched that I get to see all of my favorite scenes, Production I.G definitely got the style of the manga down-pacted, and I laughed a bit harder at several scenes, , a bit more than I did when I read it, so that was a plus. The animation is fantastic, and the music is quite intriguing. I'll definitely keep on reading the manga and watching the anime.

This anime has pleasantly surprised me. The animation is smooth and crisp, and the story is nice, in a heart-warming kind of way. I generally hate shoujo, but I love this.
