Kobato.

Well, it sure took you a lifetime to realize that.
This particular post most likely went unnoticed. Couldn't blame you though as the poster himself has this nature of being hardly noticeable.
As for the episode itself, never in my wildest dreams have I once thought of hearing such words come out of our naive, innocent, and cute dear Kobato's mouth. Even if it was solely based on a one-time, brief observation, she said it like an arrow, making that particular (somehow) cliched scene appear to be so effectively striking. Sadly, all she got in return was a score of -100 from Ioryogi and a WTF deadline upon her dream's fulfillment. Still, I've had plenty of laughs out of this episode more than the previous ones for sure; her antics are so incredibly amusing, it's hard to come up with just one funniest part in the entire 20 plus minute long episode. But if I really have to choose though, it's gotta be the trading the alligator for the tickets scene for I didn't think she'd even thought of something as smart yet as silly as that. Plus I just love how she had found the lottery ticket, won the gator, and the way she carried it almost as if giving it a piggy back ride. Poor her, it must have been quite heavy...

I started watching this show yesterday and I just couldnt get over what a hilarious person Kobato is. The part where she made the soup in the first episode just had me going and I couldnt stop watching it. The only thing about her that kinda weirds me out is that shes such a well dressed hobo.

That stuffed dog is great.
Though I have to wonder why the day care guy is the only one suspicious of Kobato doing all these good deeds for apparently no reason.

And even better, the OP single has already been released.

The deadline is interesting, however. I guess Heaven really wants all of their people to work hard for what they really want, and in an efficient manner as well. You could put it that way but I still see it as a limit which most often times than not, is a bad thing. I honestly never expected heaven to be so damn kind. 20 plus something episodes are definitely not enough and I would hate to see this series end in such an incomplete manner.

Damn episode 5!
Just when did this happen exactly? Also, calling Kobato an idiot is rather harsh don't you think? She's dense/thickheaded alright but not as much as an idiot. :(
