It's too bad that the episodes for Code Geass R2 was projected at 25 episodes. I only wish that they would have made 50 episodes for R2. It could have explained things clearly.
With Milly doing some serious news reporting, it looks like she is moving up in the ranks rather quickly. I wonder if she'll follow in the footsteps of Diethard? That would be interesting if she follows Zero and his rebellion to overtrow Britainnia. This might be a story that would be very hard for her to resist, if it ever happens.

I hope we can see more screen time for Milly Ashford before the series ends. She definately needs it in order to see some increased fanservice for her.

Actually i think he will end up with either C.C. or Kallen but i think both of them have a high chance of dying by the end of the series. Milly....i don't think she will be seen as a love interest though i mean i know she likes Lelouch a lot but Lelouch only sees her as a friend well maybe like a relative more than a friend..... Anya is quite an impossible match as well though personally she is my second fave character after C.C. but it is suspicious...she seem to be linked to Lelouch in some way (remember the picture in her mobile diary) so maybe she will switch sides but i think she won't be his love interest though maybe some sort of sibling???? Kaguya i think will die at the end anyway but she just isn't his type so it's hard to imagine Lelouch falling for her lol :wink: :wink:

Milly is certainly not a relative of Lelouch. She is actually in love with him, as was Shirley before she died. Lelouch actually treated them as close friends. But his mind was on Nunnally's wellbeing. So he didn't have time to develop romantic feelings for the girls at Ashford Academy, as a result of taking care of his sister and gambling.
The only reason why Shirley became a love interest was because she made it known to him. Milly has yet to do so. Neither Kallen or C.C. ever said that they were in love with Lelouch. But Kallen is starting to like him more and more. But Milly's love for Lelouch is very strong as well.
A Milly x Lelouch relationship might provide the biggest surprise of all of the potential combo:
C.C. x Lelouch
Kallen x Lelouch
I can't say if a Milly x Lelouch relationship will ever happen. But the more people who talk about Kallen and C.C., the greater chance that we might see Milly and Lelouch meeting each other again. But this time, we might just see another Shirley moment within Milly because she will not be able to hold back the tears of worry and loss.

I feel that at the rate that R2 is going, I don't believe that Lelouch will end up with anyone. If episode 25 indicates a re-setting, then I would love to see the creators do a directors cut version of what they had planned for the series R2. The Ashford episode, I'll admit, were a huge joke, in comparison to R1. I missed the old feel that the first season had. I hope that the creator could write a novel of his version of Code Geass. :D

Let's not forget Kaguya, Milly, and Kallen. Although I don't think that she would want anything to do with Lelouch once he becomes Emperor. But she could talk to him about setting her mother free from her 20 year jail sentence. Also, Kaguya would make a great Empress who could oversee Japan. Milly, could become his Empress who would represent the interest of Britannia, not to mention her family's Nobility would be restored.
As for the planned R2, had it retained its original timeslot, I wondered if Milly would have married Lloyd. Judging from her expression, she would have called off the wedding a lot sooner rather than later. She doesn't seem to be a person who wanted a loveless relationship.
