Level E (レベルE?) is a science fiction manga series by Yoshihiro Togashi. The plot follows an alien prince who crash lands on Earth and begins living with a high school student. Along with its short length and more realistic art style, the story of Level E focuses much more heavily on humor than Togashi's more famous shÅnen series Yu Yu Hakusho and Hunter × Hunter.
Level E was originally serialized in the Japanese Shueisha magazine Weekly ShÅnen Jump from 1995 to 1997 for a total of 16 chapters. These chapters have since been collected into three volumes, as well as two magazine-style books. An anime adaptation of Level E is currently being produced by Studio Pierrot and David Production and is to begin airing on TV Tokyo in early 2011.

I'm quite surprised that they took almost 16 years to animate this manga. I just watched the first episode and I am very pleased with it. I would like to know your thoughts about it.

Another anime that might look interesting.
One thing bugs me just a tiny bit, is that the high schooler looks way mature than it is. They look more like college students in my opinion. Of the art style and behavior.

My thoughts exactly. I thought he was at least 20, not just a kid entering high school... But otherwise, this looks promising.

Rule 63...that was weird. The Prince really showed his great intellect this episode. He managed to save Earth and TROLL both his subordinates and the entire Macbac race at the same time. Next arc, mermaids and the return of the Color Rangers.

I'll revive this topic for the sake of the last episode of the series. Finally, someone outwitted the Prince of trolling. The ending was a sight to behold I must say. The aliens revealing themselves to the entire world was awesome.

Thoroughly enjoyed this series from start to finish, always a good laugh.
